I was planning to go see Transformers 2 with some friends tomorrow (Thursday), but most of us ended up getting an off day today so we decided to go. The movies were packed, but I still manage to get tickets for everyone.
Firstly we ended up reaching early to get tickets and with a few hours to spare, we also and looked at Ice Age 3 to kill the time. I wasn't expecting much from the movie and that's exactly what I got. It was a nice family movie but not my sty|e
Now for the Transformers. I hated the first movie, I thought was it was a snoozefest with a lame storyline. There were not enough Transformers. The autobots were done like *******, especially Prime and the Decepticons were simply just not evil enough. The second movie fixed most of the flaws in the first movie and overall I enjoyed it the movie a lot.
The storyline was still garbage. The humor was acceptable. The special effects and fighting were phenomenal! The autobots were done like the heroes they were supposed to be, however they awesomeness overpowered the Decepticons making them look like the ******* this time. Prime was done too powerful and Megatron was a laughing stock!
Overall the movie was entertaining and I paid to be entertained so it was money well spent.
Another gaming milestone reached. Today I finally crossed the 60K gamerscore mark. The game that pushed me over the mark was Monopoly.
Let me see now, according to my 50K blog it took me about 2 months to rack up 10K. Not too shabby since I'm not gaming as much as I used too.
Actually, I wasn't planning to cross 60K this soon. I was just playing Monopoly because I was having a lot of fun with the game and before I knew it, I crossed 600G, without even trying
. I was hoping it would have been Prototype to push me over the 60K mark because I started that game yesterday.
I also completed Ghostbusters, the game was a lot of fun, but it was on the short side. I completed the game with most of the things unlocked and collected and I bearly crossed 6 hours. Still a sweet game.
Now let me see the breakdown:
- 60K - Monopoly
- 50K - X-Men Origins: Wolverine
- 40K - Sega Genesis Collection
- 30K - Dead Space
- 20K - Soul Calibur IV
- 10K - Elder Scrolls Oblivion
If you don't know Micheal Jackson died by now, you must be living on another planet, too deep in your parent's basement or you're not keeping up with current events
.
It's not like me to blog about a celebrity's death because I hate all those spoiled, rich bastards. But when it's a celebrity you actually admired because of their musical contribution, you really feel it when listening to their music. That's the case with Micheal Jackson.
I really liked his music and music videos especially from the 80s. Here's a glove tribute. His music will always rule and I will always love it! ![]()
