What was the length of your warranty? Had you any problems with it while it was still under warranty?

That sucks dude. Didn't the warranty get extended to 3 years? Has it been 3 years since the Elite came out? I'm not sure if it has. Time flies by though. Well, you do have the PS3. But you might want to check up on the possible extended warranty, cause if you can get it fixed for free, it would be nice.

Well here in Italy we don't have that fancy "3 years warranty" but a 1-year one instead...so practically i lucked out

You had mentioned that you played Crysis. If you have a gaming PC, I know that Microsoft releases some of their exclusives for PC as well. They have Halo 2, Gears of War, and Viva Pinata. But I know that Alan Wake is also coming to PC, and I'm pretty sure Fable 2 will be released for PC with the DLC included in it. Just in case you miss the exclusives, you can play them on PC.

Yup. It was my reason for a PS3. MGS4 and Uncharted were amazing games. But WKC is THE GAME.

And once you get a wireless router, let me know what games you play online. I still need to buy Far Cry 2 and possibly Call of Duty 5. And once I'm finished with the Resistance 2 single player, I need to start playing the co-op, and then the online competitive. That game will take forever.

Sure thing! As soon as i get the money (i'm thinking about selling all my x360 games) i'll buy that router so that i can finally enjoy the ultimate playstation experience! I'll add you when the day comes...for now imma enjoy some singleplayer.. lol Naruto is amazing

I was just going to ask you how Naruto was too. It looked good, but I hadn't played the other Ultimate Ninja games on the PS2. But CyberConnect2 is a amazing team. They did the .hack series which I liked. I am doing some side jobs to get some more money while I'm going through school. So when I get some more cash, I definitely have to start getting some more games. Valkyria being one of them. And Naruto being another.

Funny thing, to be honest. When I first got my PS3, there were hardly any games, and I would try to find games that I could buy. One year later, and I'm drowning in games to buy and play.

Naruto is an amazing game! long,good-looking,fun,fluid..you name it! This and VC are definately two games a ps3 owner should buy! You won't regret it

Oh.and it's just starting.. next year a flood of great exclusives like Infamous,KZ2,WKC,Uncharted2;GOW3 will come! I luv mah ps3!!

Yeah. It'll be pretty awesome. I like Uncharted, and Uncharted 2 will be amazing. But I can't wait for Naughty Dog to work on the next Jak and Daxter game. As good as these action packed games are from Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, and Insomniac, I really want to play some more Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly Cooper.

And KZ2 is looking epic. The new engine that they are using is putting the Unreal Engine to shame. I can't wait to see what other games will look like if they are using the "KZ2" engine.

Yeah... i want a new Jak & Daxter game also.. i mean Insominiac did a great job this gen by swapping different franchises yearly but Naughty Dog is still a bit behind.. hopefully they'll get to work as soon as Uncharted2 is done

They said they had something in store for fans. After announcing an Uncharted 2. But I didn't know if they were talking about Uncharted 2, or a new game. But a Jak and Daxter would be awesome. Jak 3 was one of my favorite platformers. And because of the large time loop that they caused in Jak 2, they could easily make one more game of epic proportions. But I think I can handle another Uncharted game. But if they start making an Uncharted 3 without having announced a Jak game. I'll be pissed.

towel trick...are you kidding me man? wouldn't that just make the whole situation worse?

Supposedly, the towel trick is supposed to get the system hot enough so that the processing chip can solder itself back onto the motherboard. But how the chip soldered itself off and how the system is positioned play a huge part in this "trick", so there would be no surefire way or 100% guaranteed result in doing the trick. Besides, it would only be adding fuel to the fire. Why would you want to make your system hot enough to melt metal? That's just asking for it.
