Oh boy. I got tagged by nsoliveira, and I have to some things about myself. Well, this gives me a good excuse to type up on what's being happening to me ever since my fall break ended. So far, these past two weeks weren't good to me, and I hope to have good ones until we are let off for Thanksgiving.

1. Games- Before I went back, I spent my Monday with my best friend playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on his Xbox 360. Man, I was really impressed with that game. The controls were really solid, and the animations for the fight encounters were really fluid. My friend was impressed with how well I was playing the game even though he had to point out where some of the Riddler answers were. I hope to play it some more when I come back for Thanksgiving. At 17%, that's not bad for the few hours I spent playing it.

I have been giving my DS some attention now that I have Professor Layton and Chrono Trigger to sink my teeth on. I was surprised that I had cleared at least 20 puzzles before I finished the first chapter of Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. I have also been keeping up with the weekly downloadable puzzles, and they're much more challenging than what I faced in the first game. Still, I am really enjoying it. As for Chrono Trigger, I have been blazing through that game thanks to my recent memory of playing some of the SNES version. I am currently trying to get the stone that is needed to repair the Masamune, and my characters aren't that far behind from reaching Level 20.

Finally, I downloaded one of those anime online games that you usually see advertised on websites. The game I found to be of some interest was Dungeon Fighter Online. Classic arcade fighting action with role-playing elements? Sign me up! I have only played it once though, but I do hope to put more time into it. If anyone would like to find me, my character goes by EddieWolf (hooray for unoriginality), and he's a Gunner. I think I was Level 5 the last time I played it.

2. Back to School- Now I'm back in school, and these past two weeks haven't been the best for me. On Wednesday, I go to my advisor to see what courses I should be taking. What I had found out did not make me happy in the least. It turns out that I have fourteen credit hours of electives left in my concentration. Fourteen! I was so sure that I would be done and graduate in the spring. However, that's not going to be happening. I even went to a couple of professors at the digital media department to make sure my advisor didn't make a mistake. Apparently, my advisor was right, and the reason I'm lacking those credit hours is because of the APS Music Scholarship I have been receiving along with taking tuba/euph ensemble and band. So that put a damper on what to expect knowing that I will have to take an extra semester after spring. One of my professors made a comment that it's kind of good in a way because I can take the courses I want to take so that I can build a better portfolio. Now I'm thinking of maybe being a concept artist for games since my professor knows that I like to draw a lot.

Besides this, I had a midterm exam for technical communications, a paper for intro to film, and textures to be created for 3D lighting and rendering. A lot of stuff was during that time causing me to lose a lot of precious sleep and raise some stress. However, all that stuff is out of the way, and I just hope to have better weeks leading into the Thanksgiving break.

3. Stolen Item Returned- On Thursday, I come up to the tuba room at the music building to find that my tuba case is lying on its side. Annoyed by this, I put it back to how I had it until I noticed that my old mouthpiece is missing. I went around asking about it, and a few said that they will let me know if they find anything. The next day, one of my friends brings it back to me and told me that someone from the pep band had borrowed it. Seriously, that was not acceptable for what that person did. I now carry my mouthpiece in my backpack, and I plan on buying a lock and chain for the tuba case. Why? I'm not going to let an $8,000 investment get vandalized like that. In case anyone doesn't know, that's my tuba that my parents bought me as a birthday present back in the eighth grade.

4. Drawing- Because of school, I haven't found the time to draw anything except for sneaking in my sketchbook during technical communications. There are two drawings I've been switching back and forth on. One is ebbderelict's prize drawing which he wants for me to draw something H.R. Giger-related like the Alien movies. The other is a model sheet for one of my characters in which it will turn into something like my fursona character sheet. I just need to come up with this current character's background info. Other than that, I have a few more gifts I really need to finish and get out of the way before I can do some personal art and…

5. Commissions- Yep. I'm seriously thinking about whether or not to do commissions. I've been paying for them for some time now, and I think it's time that I try it out. I mean some extra money on the side would be nice. Here is what I am thinking of for prices.

Pencil drawing- $5
Line art- $7
Digitally colored- $10
$5 extra for one additional character (up to three per commission)

Of course I will have a do-and-don't listing to give everyone an idea of what to expect from me. Again, I'm still thinking about it, and I really would like to give it a try. I may think about doing them during the Christmas break seeing that I will have time then. I have been told by a friend in real-life that I should start doing commissions. Even my sister has shown some of my work to her art friends, and they say that I should do them as well. It's a really tempting idea. What do you guys think?

Right, I guess that will just about do it for this tag thing. Now who to tag? Hmm. I tag… no one! That's right. With these memes, it's perfectly legit to steal them for yourself to use in case you're bored.

Thanks for reading!

Until next time!

When you speak of playing your DS, I think of how little I do so. About half of my DS games have never been played. That's about 18, if I counted correctly. I'm at that point after finishing Uncharted 1 where I'm not sure what to play next. Big Bang Mini, Steal Princess, or something else.

Nice list. I would be upset about the whole mouthpiece thing (I mean who borrows something like that?), and I don't blame you for buying a lock.

@hart704: I'm actually enjoying my DS more than the Wii. I really hope to get one of the other consoles soon. I'm sure you'll figure out what to play next.

@ebbderelict: Thanks! Ugh! It was so aggravating.

Wow that sucks about the mouthpiece. Who would take a mouthpiece!?!? Seriously!
