Mirror's Edge (PS3)

I got Mirror's Edge and Fable 2. I'll most likely review Resistance 2 than Fable 2 because it doesn't look much different than the last game. Anyways this is about Mirror's Edge, and I couldn't put this game down. I love how fluid the game is and reminds me so much of a game called Breakdown. Breakdown was more on combat than platforming while Mirror's Edge is more on platforming than combat. Either way I loved the game and will be working on getting the best PlayStation 3 time on EA's servers in one of the 23 courses. Terminator_TX3 is coming.

Strengths

•· A new perspective for platformers

•· Unique visual direction

•· Creative use of mechanics

Weaknesses

•· Some poor animations in cinematics

•· City feels kind of dead

Glad you enjoyed it, although I felt coming towards the end of the game, many of the elements that remained strengths for the game started to disappear. I wish the levels for one always remained large with several different paths. I'm definitely looking forward to a sequel because when you master this title, it replicates the same feeling you get when you're in the zone, or play a sport better then any other title. Video game exhilaration at its best.

It is a pretty good game. I wish things were a little more open and had a better story... I mean really, they communicate via runners because everything else is monitored... yet faith has a direct link to some guy talking to her in her ear? sounds like people should invest in that instead of all this runner stuff...

Anyhow, it was a good game, but I won't be buying the sequel until it hits $30 or so.
