My Thoughts
I think I know what everyone is most likely thinking; here we go again the Sony boy over hyping another game. I'm sorry but these images in my opinion surpass Killzone 2's in so many ways and I know its in-game images. Quatic Dream hasn't yet made a game or even a trailer that didn't use in-game generated graphics. As per usual I think this game is going to blow people's minds I just hope development isn't too far in that they can't implement the new trophy system Sony introduced late in the console's life. Basically as of my knowledge some games won't have trophies due to how far the development process is because it would be too difficult to implement.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec II Review
Purpose
It all started with Gran Turismo 4 with several delays Polyphony Digital decided to release the Gran Turismo 4 Online (PAPX-90523) as a collector's item. It was only released in Japan / South Korea selected from the GranTurismo.com sites that totalled 5,000 testers. It wasn't intended for a full fledge game for Gran Turismo 4 but was a testing ground for the PlayStation 3's online. Even though it's not the full game they're treating the game as if it was a beta version and will test new features with GT5P before the final version. With that said GT5P is a piece of the real game and everything you earn in this version will be ported to the final.
This is just my conclusion from following Polyphony Digital with the series and haven't really said the real reason why they launched a piece of the real game. Other developers have done this as well, where it requires a lot of time to achieve their goals for the final version.

E3 '08 Best Multiplatform

1. Far Cry 2

Publisher: Ubisoft
Developer: Ubisoft Montreal
Genre: First Person Shooter (FPS)
Platform: PC, PlayStation 3, XBOX 360
This game in my opinion is the best FPS available multiplatform because the usual FPS has linear game-play this is none-linear. Having linear game-play doesn't mean the game sucks for a FPS it's just a lot easier to do than a none-linear FPS which is rare on the market. Games like Project Origin, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, or The Darkness all have linear game-play. I love that fact that everything in the campaign is dynamic to your choices even right down to the time of day you play. The environment is also dynamic based on the choices you make to achieve your mission. I like how you can get wounds and have to physically heal yourself in real time as you're playing. They only released that you can only customize your maps and upload them to servers for other players to enjoy. This is shaping up to be an amazing game so I'll be keeping an eye on this game for a while.

This next Prince of Persia game has no ties to the others and has taken out the sands of time that allowed you to go back in time. The art direction as also changed with a cell-shaded look to it with no deaths and one-to-one enemy combat. The game will be none-linear so the world is very opened allowing more than one path for you to go through. A new character is introduced that has magic which is an important part of the game's mechanics. You can control the new character named Elica with a one button command using the Elica button that is contact sensitive. What I really like is that fact that you don't really die yet at the same time when you're revived the enemies will regain their strength / health. I didn't get to play all of the Prince of Persia games last generation, but I'm really interested in this one; the big plus is that you don't need to know what happened in the other games.

The new Resident Evil game will finally feature co-operative play with a heavy story to go along with it. The second attempt at allowing online play in the Resident Evil game is that they took elements from Resident Evil Outbreak Series and Resident Evil 4. They took the whole new look and game-play mechanics from the Resident Evil 4 game. With the Resident Evil Outbreak they took the multiplayer mechanics that worked well in that game. You are able to give and take items from your partner that is fighting alongside with you. What they didn't take from Resident Evil Outbreak was the different characters and their special abilities.
Like for example the characters are Kevin Ryman (Police Officer), Mark Wilkins (Security Guard), George Hamilton (Doctor), Cindy Lennox (Waitress), David Kind (Plumber), Alyssa Ashcroft (Journalist), Jim Chapman (Subway Agent), Joko Suzuki (University Student). With each person they have their own special abilities but they are not even remotely present in this game; it would have been cool to have like the "Journalist" to record certain scenes for a big story or is able to transolate text. I also like that fact that you can't move and aim at the same time. This to me adds a level of difficulty because you're facing zombie like creatures that don't move very fast. The game is mostly taking from the Resident Evil 4 instalment than Resident Evil Outbreak. It would have been nice to actually have different character than the B.S.A.A. agents that pretty much have the same abilities.

I'm a big fan of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) was in Muay Thai had to quit because of the time it takes out of your life. This game will have no hub and will solely rely on character damage to determine your health, commentary will help as well. This is truly an amazing sport trying another attempt at bringing that experience to the TV consoles. The build that was at the Game Spot Stage Demo had bad animations with a lot of collision problems. The game is going to have an in-depth character creation mode for players to use throughout the entire game. With all that said I'm really looking forward to this game solely based on how exciting the sport is with my experience with the sport.

From what I've seen I think graphically the game doesn't seem to impress me but the game play does. I like how you can aim at certain body parts and will give you a percentage of your chances of hitting it (V.A.T.S.). The fact that you can play it as a first person shooter or very similar to a turn based strategy game is interesting. From what I've seen I think graphically the game doesn't seem to impress me but the game play does. Overall I'm not really interested in this game as much as most people are but is still on my radar.
Mental Note: This is most likely the last E3 '08 blog considering how slow I post my opinions due to a full-time job.
