Am I talking about games?

Nope

Am I talking about accessories?

Nope

I'm talking about money!

Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. With so many great games coming up I don't mind spending some money on them. But I've got 30 games trackedright now. And I want all of them! Some of those games are simplymust haves.

Anyone of you who is planning on not buying Assassins Creed 2, Bioshock 2 or Modern Warfare 2 should be hung, drawn and quartered. Or should simply dispense of the title "gamer" forever. (Those of you whom have played the Simpsons game know there is a gamer heaven. Eternal exile can be quite a hassle )

There are other titles like Saboteur and Overlord 2 (it's a sequal year ..obviously ) that will also need a close examination. Preferably one that starts at level one and ends with the credits to the makers. But these games can be bought later.

Boishock 2 will be released on the 3rd of November, Modern Warfare 2on the 10th and Assassins Creed 2 on the 17th .. not my favorite way of planning. But who hasn't gone without sleep for a night or two to finish a game? (think carefully about your answer and look a few paragraphs up )

I'm certain I'll pre-order AC2! That demo showed at the floor show has simply blown me away! Thermal propulsion or not. That game is amazing!

For those of you that think this blog does not make any sense. I've got one thing to say. Read the rest of my blogs and hush up!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
you forgot mass effect 2

@ BiggsWedge .. you're totally right! Mass Effect is a must play! All I can say in my defense is .. it's on my tracked list. There are more games in there that should be mentioned. But I just picked a hand full from that list .. Luckily Mass Effect will give me a month before I finish the other games

The end of the year is definitely guna be a tough time for my wallet...you can add Uncharted 2 to that list for me aswell Its great to see so many great games coming out though so Im not complaining

Nice to see a blog longer than one sentence from you Smitt

Meh I haven't played TR Underworld yet so I make sure I play that one before getting me any other game. I may give AC2 a try but really looking forward to Heavy Rain.
And Mass Effect of course. And yeah about the cost of gaming, here where I live games are cheaps ( no copyright) but even if they were expensive, it didn't matter as I don't play more than a handful per year.

what's this? A Smitt blog which makes a small lick of sence?! my eyes betray me!!
but yeah, money's gonna be a serious problem towards the end of the year for me too

@ wolves1989 and danthegamer32 . No worries .. my next blog wil be as useless as ever Don't you guys start expecting things when you see the next blog title pop up

@ Kathibi22 . You really should get AC2 if you get a chance .. that game is on the top of my list. From what I've seen so far it's literally a trip back in time .. can you think of any good excuse to miss the Italian Renaissance?

Lol,smitti, sure thing I am just so glad I am living in the 21century And love futuristic, Sci-Fi games! Can live happily without the past all right

Wht about Splenter Cell?? tht game is gonna be awesome and MGS: Rising (which is coming out for XBOX ) anyways
good luck with getting all your games, 30 is alot of games to get

wow, are certainly are passionate about these games. Well for me, money is tight. And these games aren't going anywhere after they launch. So why rush? That's why people have money problems because their passion for something makes them live beyond their means. I have more than 20 games I haven't even touched yet, so I won't be buying a whole lot from the E3 list anytime soon. Sure some of those games are must haves, but not a MUST HAVE RIGHT NOW. lol. But I don't knock anyone who pre-orders and such. As long as you have the money for it and don't feel guilty go ahead and GAME ON...lol

We're all going to go broke this year. SO MANY GAMES!! And yes, it is indeed a sequel year. Looks like November is going to eat out your wallet smittens. AC2 is gonna be sweet. As will Bioshock 2. Modern Warfare 2 looks sweet too. Sadly, I don't have a 360 or PS3 of my own. I am hoping this summer I can get a PS3 though so I can buy more games. My brother has a 360, but I'm not home often enough to play really.

I'm already broke before getting any games: still need to get a HDTV & PS3 and some extra RAM for my pc and I also plan on going to Italy

AC2 will be day one for sure. Probably with me pestering Gamestop like I did with the first one, calling in every hour with, "is it in yet?" (insert a that's-what-she-said joke)

For sure:
Splinter Cell C, AC2, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2

Most likely:
Batman AA, Heavy Rain, Modern Warfare 2, Beatles Rock Band, Wet, Borderlands ... uhh. I'll stop there before I begin hyperventilating.

Stop making stuff that makes sense

@ Khatibi22 : I also love living in the present. But you can dream of the past aswell as the future can't you? Both have a certain charm. I can't think of any moment in time I would not like to experience.

@Miss AF_chic : I could ad many more games to be honest. But I just picked a few games out of my top ten. Overlord is there simply because most of it is made by fellow Dutchmen Splinter Cell is on my tracked list to.

@ Spawnhellraiser : I'm passionate about all things I like .. did I tell you I like you?

@ Whitewolf725 : You don't own a console yourself? ..*southern accent on* well I guess you can always depend on the kindness of strangers *southern accent off*

@ Maffiosi : Buying games is an expensive hobby. But than again. So is buying nice clothes and clubbing ..

@ dQuarters : I know how you feel. My list could go on and on .. I might even have to quit my day job and forget about any social contact if I were to play every game that has my interest

@ : Angusclone2 .. I'll try. But I must say .. It's interesting this sensible thinking .. though I'm sure it'll ware off soon enough

Don't forget that collecting movies is an expensive hobby too I curse my good taste whenever I blow my budget on an expensive italian suit New additions to the to get-list: a weight set & a pair of (probably expensive) sunglasses

Maybe I should go work in a nightclub during the holidays, made a lot of money there last time... or just get the book, the script & the article finished.

Did you just quote Blanche DuBois? That's awesome. And yes, when it comes to new gen consoles, I do indeed depend on the kindness of strangers...strangers like my brother and housemates.
Posted Jun 8, 2009 6:33 pm PT
@ Maffiosi : You know. Somehow I always picture you as a Scrooge McDuck (oom Dagobert) Not the greed part. But more like the part not "wanting" to spend money .. but somehow still doing so .. maybe it's just because of the gentleman's coast and high hat he wears?

@ Whitewolf725 : Well. In that case I think I was right. When I look at my sister and my college time friends they don't get more strange than that

I always wanted to get a top hat as a kid now I just want a fedora He was/is my favourite 'duck'; I suppose I'm sort-of like him, except I get more action with the 'chicks'
Posted Jun 10, 2009 4:04 am PT
Don't forget Uncharted 2 too. I guess I should start saving money for all these great games...
Posted Jun 20, 2009 5:32 pm PT
Yeah, this year's E3 made me very happy and sad at the same time. They announced a lot of PSP and PS3 games that are going to be must haves.
Posted Jul 13, 2009 7:32 am PT
Hiya, big boy... LOL I've missed you guys too! And yep yep yep.... too many games, not enough money. WAAAYYYYYY not enough money. *SIGH* Maybe I'll sell a kidney and catch up on all my titles.
