I just finished my review.
I tried to include all the parts, good and bad, that I felt strongly about, while also trying not to bore people with lots of information they already know. Hopefully I kept it sufficiently short and sweet enough to be interesting but also informative. Hope you enjoy! Feel free to leave comments or critiques if you'd like. ![]()

What's that??

Solid Snake being all sneaky!
You can only see it from certain parts of the room, which is the best. Snake's got to stay in the dark corners, you know? ![]()
I'm back at school and all moved in!
My roommate is great... I went potluck but I love the girl I got put with... she's going to be great to live with. We're watching Steel Magnolias. ![]()
I LOVE The Format. Dog Problems is one of my favorite CDs ever. Unfortunately for me, the band broke up back in February. I know this may sound like a lame thing to say, but when I found out they broke up I felt like someone had punched me. The released only two full length CDs, both of which I adored. They were a truly great band that I was sad to see end.
Which leads me to fun! Nate, the lead singer of the Format, has started a new band with some guy named Jack from a band I'm not familiar with called Steel Train, and--get this--Andrew Dost, formerly of Anathallo!!! Yall know how much I love Anathallo. I used to talk about them all the time on my former blog, and the sig of my godsgroovygamer account is cover art from their CD Floating World. Andrew Dost was one of the most talented members of Anathallo, and while I was sad to see him depart from that group, to me there could be no better news than this meshing of two of my favorite bands.
The band is called "Fun." They have a single or EP coming out in November, followed by a full length in the spring. I'm so excited for this, and I can't wait to hear more! It's definitely the best news I heard all week.
Well, that and the news that Anathallo finally dated their new CD. It's set to come out November 18th. That's 2 1/2 years after their last release, and I'm SO ready for it!
Oh, and I'm reading Watchmen. It's my first graphic novel, and it's AMAZING!
