I gladly except all constructive criticism. Just remember one simple yet important thing. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this. I havent had any education in this area, either. I filmed, acted and edited everything all on my own. The only thing that I didnt do is create the music.

If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask.
Like I said, constructive criticism is welcomed. If you have any tips, I would love to hear them.

Oh and the Camera goes blurry a bit at the start, I dont know why, its just always been that way. I can't reshoot anything either, because I no longer live in the same house.

So here it is, The Shed.

Pretty good, nice and simple. If you ask me though, the wipe effect used around the 1 minute mark looks pretty lame. Other than that I can't really find any faults. The music is really good, but is it copyrighted? Just a heads up because many people have had their videos taken down because of that (which would be a shame because the music fits in well) Could have done with more of a plot though, like maybe some creepy breathing in the bushes or something But no, it's good. 5 stars!

I didn't get it, but I thought it was cool that you did it all yourself and it didn't appear to be particularly hand held.

Pretty cool. Great music, and here are some tips:

1. I agree with Turbo. That transition looked really corny

2. That shot where you say "if I can only reach that" is a little too long. Break it down with shots of your face struggling OR train the camera onto the exact point where your character has to reach. A common film-making rule is that once your character notices something, it's your obligation to show the audience 100% what it is the character is looking at.

3. The music separating scenes really takes away flow from a short film. It was perfectly done at the end, but some of the other musical transitions chopped up the video too much. A fade to black AND silence breaks flow to me.

But really, it's an amazing short film. Way better than most I've ever seen. Keep at it!

Actually really great! Loved the use of music, and beyond that transition, then only thing I didn't really like was the line "i just have to reach that" or whatever it was, and also you seemed like you looked at the camerea when it had the shot of your face and the sky. Beyond that it was well worth the wait! Loved it!

I agree with what's been said about the music. Nice selection.
I also agree with what Turbo-Evil said about that one wipe, and the fading to black got to be a little too much for me. Aside from that I'd say it was good. Simple, and too the point. Nothing was drawn out.

Well I am a little confused with why your character was in the shed. Otherwise I liked it.

Everyone: Thank you all for watching and for your comments.
themovi3nut, SavageM2 and Im sure more of you didnt quite get it. Which is understandable. Basically, he's stuck in a loop. He wakes up in the shed with his head hurting. Before he goes back in there, his head is hurting again (hopefully you got that). I dont like it when things end without a full explanation but thats the only way I could do this.
Thanks again everybody.

Turbo-Evil: The music is copyrighted but I do have permission to use it. Thanks though. I did originally have more of a plot in mind but I really wanted to give this a go all on my own, so I had to abandon that idea. Maybe next time I'll include other people.

hazelnutman: Thanks, I'll remember those for the future. I changed the music to try and fit what was happening in each scene. I thought one thing suited walking and another suited 'oh crap, Im passing out for some reason' more than others. But you think its better to leave one piece of music the whole way through?

Foolz3h: Glad it didnt disappoint

ebbderelict: Thats good, I was afraid it might have been too short :O
