Please note: I haven't played my 360 much lately so this patch comes as quite a surprise to myself.
As some of you may know, Team Fortress 2 has recently been updated with a patch for 360 owners. As some of you may also know, this patch is absolute trash.
Taken from Kotaku.com.
"The update did not manage to stuff in a half-dozen c1ass updates, new maps, and new gameplay modes that PC users have been enjoying over the past year. Nor does it seem to include a proper fix for some map exploits.
What it does do is offer the option to toggle critical hits and limit the number of players who can choose a certain c1ass meaning some games you'll join may completely rule out the option to play as a Pyro or Heavy. What else it offers, we're not yet sure. We contacted Valve earlier today, but have yet to receive clarification about today's changes to the Xbox 360 version of the game."
Yes that's right, we now have a limit on which c1ass we can choose from. This means that if your joining a match hoping to burn some Scouts as a Pyro, you will, now, most likely not be able to. Instead, you'll probably have to play out an entire match with a team of snipers, while the other team can be whatever they want. The idea of having other people choose who you play as is simply moronic. It's not fun and it doesn't help even out the battlefield.
I've personally joined 15 matches already where every other c1ass but one has been limited on my team, usually sniper or spy. What's more is that the opposing team apparently had every c1ass to choose from. Now this wouldn't be nearly as bad if we had the ability to at least switch which c1ass we have to play as, but for some God-forsaken reason, we didn't. I had absolutely no idea who controlled the c1ass limitation rules but it certainly wasn't from our team. So this went to make me believe that the host had the almighty power to make our entire team play as the good ol' Snoipa', which, to be honest with you, is broken.
Now before I get anybody coming in and saying "Why don't you just get the PC version?" I want to let you know that I don't have the money to be whisked away on such extravagances. Trust me, if I did, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble to write this rant.
I'm not saying that I hate Team Fortress 2 and/or Valve but what I am saying is that if Valve is attempting to enhance TF2's console version experience, than they need to start worrying less about "glitches" and more about proper c1ass updates. I mean, it has been over a year now. What's the hold up, Valve?

@Bart247: I'm pretty sure that the PC version didn't get the patch. If it did as well, then Valve is going to have a few sore customers on their hands.
