Bah, the summer never lasts long enough. The new term started yesterday at my school yesterday and I am in no way ready to having to get up early in the mornings again (I'm lazy I know
, but spending 6 weeks doing nothing does that to yah. Maybe I should consider getting a part time job
). But the good news was that I finally got my exam results
(well half of them at least, I've got my subjects split over two years so I've still got a load more exams to sit through next June to finish my GCSEs). I managed to get Bs in History and Electronics and Cs in Maths and German which I think is pretty good. Currently I'm studying English, Science (which includes Chemistry, Physics and Biology), Art and Geography.
After I finish these cources and do my exams next year I would have finish school altogether (and College and University after that hopefully) so hopefully this year will go fairly quickly. On an unrelated note, I've got a busy month on the air cadet front this September. We just spent the weekend helping out at the Elvaston steam rally in Derby, which was pretty fun as we got to wonder round and go on the fair and stuff
(went on this ride called the rotor six times, never doing that again. Felt really sick the next day
). We are also helping out at the local out at the local carnival next week, we've some new Probationers having their passing out parade to become full cadets on Thursday, we've got the wing swimming competition, the battle of Britain parade in Nottingham, the wing commander's inspection, battle of Britain charity collections and dining in night to attend (where the squadron gathers and has a big formal dinner) so I've got my work cut out for me)
Thanks for reading
. Cheers
