I am wondering from the point of view of a owner of some privious Sega CD games. If any of you owned a Sega cd then you know that the games scratched easier than any other system known to man and it would be neat to be able to play those games again.

So, is it legal to download games you use to own but can't play anymore because they disc is ruined? Is it legal to download games you never owned because some games and system are not available even on ebay?

*If you believe this post is not appropriate to be posted on gamespot please let me know and I will delete it promptly. I just don't remember seeing it listed on the rules. I saw it said copyrighted Roms but I am not sure if all roms are copyrighted or even if any are.
