Haven't blogged about stuff on tv.com in a long time! I have been submitting a lot lately and now I have a lot more shows that I edit! For some reason, I am addicted to reality tv... I know, it's horrible and I wish I wasn't, but the shows just suck me in!

I now edit both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. I picked up the female version when the previous editor was retired from being MIA, which was a nice surprise. I also picked up Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, a show on the Food Network that I love to watch. Not a huge fan of Guy Fieri, but his enthusiasm for food is definitely watchable! Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew was a good pickup, even though the show is a little exploitative. The new season, Sober House, is full of drama. Just picked up Confessions of a Teen Idol yesterday and I just love that show because it has guys on there from the 80's that I loved, Billy Hufsey, Adrian Zmed, etc. Eric Nies is a nice touch too!

Also picked up Paris Hilton's My New BFF, I know, I know... what crap, really it was. I didn't intend to even try to become editor. Rounding out my new reality shows is 17 Kids and Counting about the Duggar family. I started watching this out of curiosity and it still intrigues me. How can you have 17, now 18 kids and not get them confused and spend time with all of them? All of those reality shows, plus my old stand-by, The Real World, I have a lot of editing to do, LOL!

On another editor note, I picked up a show that I really, really wanted. Swans Crossing!!! This show came on in the summer of 1992 and I have every single episode on VHS. It stars Sarah Michelle Gellar before she hit it big. It was a half-hour teen soap that I just loved! I was very happy to obtain this show and it needs a lot of work! Now, I get to go back and watch the show all over again

Nothing new to report in my life otherwise! Valentines Day was okay. John and I went out to a nice steak dinner that cost way too much. I was a little disappointed that he didn't get me flowers or candy or even a card! That bummed me out. John definitely slacked this year. I love to get cards

Right now, it's snowing in Maryland and I wish it would stop. Don't think there will be much accumulation, but when it snows, people drive like idiots!

Anyway, have a great day everyone!!!

You watch too much tv. The ONLY reality show I watch is American Idol and that's becoming a caricature of itself with gimmicks and drama.

My fiance and I had Pizza for V-Day while we watched the Slam Dunk competition. I wanted to go to Santa Cruz for the day, but it was raining cats and dogs. I got her a pretty card, but she didn't get me anything. Usually, we get exchange cards, but this year she was too lazy so don't feel bad. You're not the only one.

I saw about 3 minutes of the Paris Hilton show the other night and I just couldn't understand it. For one thing, why would anyone WANT to be "best friends" with Paris Hilton?!?! (talk about a freudian slip, I accidently wrote "breast friends" ), but what really amazed me was how determined the contestants looked to win! At least American Idol has a purpose!

Anyway, can't raelly say I'm a big reality TV watcher

Reality shows? I'm so disappointed in you. The only reality show I had been watching was Survivor, and last season I forgot to even tune in, and haven't missed it a bit. I prefer to refer to reality shows as "reality" shows, as I seriously doubt there's any actual reality involved. I really don't count the shows on the Food Network as reality, although I guess technically they are. Guy Fieri can be somewhat annoying, but he clearly enjoys eating, so he's okay in my book.

It was snowing over here a while ago too. It stopped pretty quickly, but the skies are black, so we're definitely getting something more...

If you're going to edit "Parisite Hilton's My New BFF", make sure you wear surgical gloves when you use your keyboard & mouse. She's just skanky enough to be able to give you her herpes while online.

I know, I'm disappointed in myself guys, LOL! Where did this "reality" show thing come from, LOL! At least I don't edit Rock of Love... oh wait, I do watch it though

OMG, stop the presses, Swans Crossing?! You're like the only person I know who knows what this show is or was. My God I want it to be on DVD. Whatever happened to Shane McDermott?

And hear I thought I was the only one who enjoyed watching reality train wrecks of epic proportions.

Cards are really nice. I enjoy getting them as well.
