ShenlongBo: My puppy chewed through the cable on my Xbox Arcade stick
m0zart: wow
ShenlongBo: I knew one of the little ++++ers was gonna get it while I was away at work, but I had no choice but to let them stay inside that day.
ShenlongBo: The whole day, I knew they were gonna ++++ something up, and I was most worried about that.
ShenlongBo: That precise thing.
ShenlongBo: Boo.
ShenlongBo: *sigh*

m0zart: did you beat the ++++ out of them and threaten sell them to koreans?
ShenlongBo: Can't.
ShenlongBo: It's my fault. I should have been better prepared to have puppies inside all day
m0zart:
do they poop everywhere?
ShenlongBo: No.
ShenlongBo: They don't ++++ outside.
ShenlongBo: *shakes fist*
m0zart:
LOL

Cables are full in fiber and all that other **** dogs need. And so is your favorite pair of shoes, and your RB microphone that might be oddly shaped like a bone.....

Point, lock everything up man. Cute puppies eat everything in sight.

Damn! And I know how much you love your arcade fighters as well. I feel bad for you now...

Emily really wants to get a puppy at some point before we have kids, but I'm actually really worried about my games and systems. I don't have any shelves or cabinets that close. All of my games sit on open bookshelves, and my entertainment center is completely open.

Aw, how cute. What kind of puppy do you have?

Crap. Will you be able to get a replacement cable? Who manufactured it, Hori?

Doc - Dogs are the most difficult while they're puppies, because they think they're *supposed* to chew on/"mark" everything in the house. If you stay with 'em, though, they figure things out, and then they're a blast. Also, if you give give them a toy they are allowed to chew on any time you catch them gnawing on no-nos, they eventually figure that out too. Don't bother buying dog toys, though. They never use them. Just tie two knots in an old sock or something, lol.

Saga - I know man! It's like Clapton with a busted guitar!

Dutch - They're border collie/Australian shepherd mix. Awesome dogs - I've had quite a few already.

Austin - I don't think I can just have it replaced, but I think I might could (lulz...) splice it all back together. And then... I line the inside with super-hot hot sauce, in case they try it again!

...nothing like having a kid though, lol, so don't think it could "prep" the two of you for that step. As far as I can tell, there is no such thing as "ready" to have kids, lol. If you don't understand now, you will.

Oh my. I highly recommend splicing. It worked for me when I had a similar puppy + electrical equipment = disaster moment... remember this?
