The opening scene for Quantum of Solace wasn't the best. The car chase was great and all, but it just doesn't suit an opening scene. That should've came after the opening credits. The opening credits weren't very good either. In Casino Royale, the opening credits were brilliant, but not so great in Quantum of Solace.
There was a lot of action in Quantum of Solace, lots and lots of action. There were some awesome moments, especially when James Bond jumped on the roof of a bus along with other badass stunts. Again, Casino Royale was stronger in stunts, but I thought they were nevertheless pretty impressive in Quantum.
"The name's Bond, James Bond", a famous line used in every 007 film....except for Quantum of Solace. "Shaken, not stirred" was also absent from the film. It wasn't such a big deal, but but both lines are such awesome fads which makes me wonder why they were removed from Quantum of Solace.
In every 007 movie, there are two lucky girls that do it with Bond. This is also the case this time, but i'll be honest and say that I wasn't a fan of the main Bond girl. For some reason, I just didn't like her.
As for Bond himself, I really liked Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. He wasn't the best in Quantum of Solace I thought. I hope he doesn't go on for too many more 007 films. Mind you, no James Bond can top Sean Connery!!
Dialogue wasn't too bad. There was a fair amount which was shared with the action....unlike Iron Man (I like comparing many movies to Iron Man, you have been warned). It was sometimes boring, but most of the time it was fairly interesting, again....unlike Iron Man. The dialogue was funny at some times too.
Overall, Quantum of Solace is a great movie and probably the only decent film to see this Summer/Winter. But before you watch it, go and see Casino Royale as Quantum of Solace is a direct sequel. It does have its downsides, but it does have more upsides. So I say you go see it as soon as possible. Definitely see it on the big screen.

WALL-E is definitely epic!! It's got comedy, and some very good animation, and it's very interesting. It is definitely my favourite Pixar film.

Back in 2005, we saw The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe retold with amazing CGI effects, and some very well done scenery. This year, the same people released the sequel to the C.S. Lewis masterpiece.

Prince Caspian is a very well made movie. At the start it's a bit dull, but it gets more exciting when the movie goes on. It follows the book very well, and the characters are very interesting. The CGI is brilliant. It is not overdone, unlike a couple of directors who you should all know. The scenery is also good, just like in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It also has a good story of course.

Overall, i'd give this about an 8.8/10. I definitely suggest that Prince Caspian is the next movie you go and see.

It's been 19 years since the release of Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Everybody though it was gonna end the series. But, no. Today marked the day that Indiana Jones was no longer a trilogy. Today was the release of Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Harrison Ford returns as a much older man, which makes it even more exciting. The fourth in the now quadrilogy is very exciting, and has a lot of action that the third slightly lacked. The story was brilliant! It was very clever all the way through the film and I loved it! It links heaps of ideas from the orginal. Indy's girlfriend, Mary (from Raiders of the Lost Ark) makes a return in this one, and has a lot to tell. Many elements from the trilogy return in this one which makes it classic. It's good that they haven't forgotten the 80's. Many of the action scenes in Indy 4 are very exciting and add to the epic movie. And of course, there are the funny bits too.

Now on to the cons. I noticed that Indiana never used his whip very much. During the first part of the movie, it is used a hell of a lot but then he doesn't even think to use it during the end. This may not be much of a problem, but the whip is supposed to be part of Indy's character. But luckily, he still cares for his hat.

Overall, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a sucess and is a very good movie to see if you are looking for some action. It's a good reminder of what 80's and 90's movies were like and you must go to your cinemas NOW, and watch this epic film!

Iron Man was a decent movie, but I found it had many flaws and it could've been improved. The overall story was pretty good, and some of the scenes. But then again, there was too much dialogue and not enough action. I was expecting this film to have more action, like pretty much every other Marvel film. However, the few action scenes in Iron Man were pretty good. The soundtrack wasn't too bad either. Overall, it's a decent movie and if you have the time, you might as well run along to the cinemas and watch it.

Simon Pegg is a very good actor. He's hilarious, and he seems to do it very well. He played the main character in Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Run, Fat Boy, Run. Three brilliant films. He is simply brilliant and one of my favourite actors.

Back to the Future Part II is even better than the first. It has an even better plot and fits in well with the trilogy, which is actually quite rare. Some people even say that this is the best in the trilogy, and as far as I can remember, I said the same. So, we have Marty McFly again who reunites with his girlfriend Jennifer. Doc returns with a hovering time machine and takes them to the year 2015. And it makes you wonder. It makes you wonder if hovercars, hoverboards and all the futuristic things in 2015 will exist. So anyway, Marty buys this book showing all the records of sports from 1950-2000. Doc tells him nom chucking it in the bin. But then you see the old version of Biff picking up the book and quickly nicking their time machine. Once he's back in 2015, Marty, Jennifer and Doc go back to 1985, finding out that they're in the alternate 1985 where Biff is rich and is married to Marty's mother. Now Marty has to go back to 1955 and try and get 1985 back to normal. He just needs to make sure he doesn't see himself.

Back to the Future is a childhood favourite of mine and will always be loved, despite how old the movie is. I recently saw this again because I needed to anyway, and I loved it just as much as I did when I was a kid. The thing I like about Back to the Future is that it tells an interesting story of time, and i've always been a fan of those kinds of stories. It tells you about the huge changes that will occur if you do anything in another time. In 1985, 17-Year old Marty sees Doc die right in front of him. So he uses Doc's time machine to go back and rescue him. He goes back to 1955, the days when his parents were in their teens. He helps his parents get together and he helps Doc from dieing, 30 years later. Back to the Future is the first of a brilliant trilogy and must be watched by the entire of man-kind. It's been a favourite for years and will always be! So, if you want a good 80's movie that will thrill you even today? Back to the Future is your best option!!

Driving Lessons is a funny and interesting movie. It stars Rupert Grint (who played Ron Weasley in Harry Potter). It is about Ben who is learning how to drive and is also doing jobs around the house for a retired actress. There are many twists, turns and funny parts in the movie, making it worth watching by anyone 13 or over.
