I'm a little jealous. Did you jail-break it (ie, hack it so you can go with a provider other than AT&T)?

I'd love a smartphone, but I can't justify my normal cell phone bill/plan, let alone adding another $20-30. So out goes the iPhone, Blackberry, any WIndows Mobile device, or the Palm Pre (which I'm drooling over). Its worst on the Pre, because its made assuming an online connection!

Yeah if you unlock it (jail break it) you wouldn't be able to update the firmware on the phone. And if you did you might just end up with a brick. As for apps check out the apps store and look at the top 25 most list, you might find something you'll like.

Crystal Defenders from square enix is a pretty solid time killing game i forget how much it costs but it's sweet. and i don't know how practical it is but i like the 9-toolbox it's definitely a good app for being free
