That's right, I moved away from home, finally.  Boohoo, sniff.  There thats done.  Now I am excited.  Unfortunately I didnt get to take my PS2, because my sibling at home gets to keep it - its apparently going to "distract me from my studies anyway".  But my place is all set up, including the furnishings, high speed wireless internet and phone bundle, and kitchenware including stove and refridgerator.  I really like it.  Its a basement sweet with a full sized living room, a huge bedroom (slash computer room), a full sized bathroom, and a little kitchen.  I will start University in two days, and am a bit excited about that too, though not the homework I will apparently have every night.  It'll all be a new experience, so its pretty cool.  I hope I will still be this excited by the END of the year!

Hey, congrats on moving out. My last year in undergrad I had a basement apartment with a roommate. It's an interesting perspective watching people walk by from underneath them. How excited you may be at the end of the year will probably depend on what classes you take. If you take stuff your good at and interested in then your test stress levels will be low and your excitement should be intact. On the other hand if you take classes that you end up stuggling in or classes that you dislike your stress levels will be high and your excitement may take a good beating because of it. What ever you do, don't over party. You will have 4-5 years of college so spread the partying out. Also, don't waste all of your free time partying, go explore some stuff. New sports, games, careers, clubs, you can take advantage of a lot of resources free or on the the big time cheap at universities. I visited one of the political party clubs while I was at university and quickly discovered that I did not like party politics. Enjoy college, the real world is very very different.
