Hey everyone!

--

In case you have never seen one of my blogs, I'm sorry about the weird format I use. I just list random thoughts, opinions and stuff off the top of my head in a very random fashion. That's just kinda the way I think.

-

Looking for a great game to play on the DS? Well Crono Trigger is for you then. This remake of the SNES RPG was re-released for the DS last month. For most of you, like myself, you may not of had the chance to play it originally. If not, I highly recommend it on the grounds of its engrossing story and adventure.

-

The Inauguration (US)

To be honest, I voted for John McCain, and stand by that. None the less, I am excited to see the how the things work out for President Obama. I may not have voted for him, but that does not mean I not am going to support the endeavors that the US plans to pursue. So, here's to the future!

Sports (To Whom It May Concern)

Football (American)- Pitt will win the Super Bowl. But I wouldn't mind seeing the Cardinals win it. I like underdog stories. And, I'll tell you what, Fitsgerald is going to be one of the best receivers the game has to offer in the near future.

Basketball- I think it is not clear to say that the East is better than the West. After Orlando's sweep of the West Coast, and a season sweep of the Lakers, they have established themselves as the best in the league. As for Cleveland and the loss to the Lakers, they say, "you haven't beaten the Cavs till you've beaten them at home". I guess that means they haven't lost this season than....well anyway, I would rank the Cavs and Lakers tied for second best in the league. Boston is fourth.

Hockey- Just curious, how many people watch hockey?

--

Last blog I said I was feeling good about my two picks for GotY (MGS4 and Fallout 3). Well, I still am, and alot more considering both IGN and GS agree. IGN finally announced it's pick of F3, while GS went with MGS4. I could not choose.

--

Clint Eastwood is the man. Hands down. Unforgiven is one of my favorite movies ever. Gran Torino was really good. Despite some weak acting by the gangs, the movie's ending is great. RECOMEND'D!Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino Pictures, Images and Photos

--

2009 is set to be a great game year. Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 are at the top of my list right now. I am still not fully convinced of the release date of Starcraft 2, but that is going to be amazing. Need I mention the barley announced CoD: Modern Warfare 2?

--

READER QUESTION OF THE BLOG:

What game are you most excited for in 2009? I mean, there has to be at least one (if not a one with zeros behind it).

--

There are just some people I have met on GS that are great people. Every blog, starting with this one, I am going to give a shout out to a reader for something they have done.

READER OF THE [INSERT INTERVAL OF TIME TILL NEXT BLOG]:

And the first ever is....

Cloud551.

Cloud really helped me out when I first got my Wii. At first, I was ashamed to call myself a 'Wii owner'. However, Cloud told me what to get for the system to not make it suck, and ultimately helped me set up my online connection (without even knowing it). Despite the inescapable grapical shortcomings, I am now actually having fun with a Wii. So Cloud, this goes out to you, for you a true Wii gamer hardcore(I know, I know, 'Wii', 'hardcore' and 'gamer' should never be used in the same sentence at the same time)!

--

Who will be the next Reader of the [Insert Interval of Time Till Next Blog]? What will be the next Reader Question the Blog? Who really is SethSOMT? Those are all really good question that I don't even know how to answer! (This supposed to be like the 60s Batman endings, which leave tons of loose ends which never seemed to be tied. It my failing attempt to make an epic blog.)

At any rate, thank you all for reading this. Have a question? Feel free to ask.

Great stuff man!

Tee hee I love your blogs ~ I'm glad to know you as a friend too!!

I'm not the biggest fan of football, I just root for my hubby's team (Colts) and sad they didn't get it this year. My coworker was all for his Eagles, and I actually watched the Eagles/Cards game and I had to say man the plays the Eagles got is what messed them up.

I plan on seeing Gran Turino asap. Clint is the man. In some near future I plan on watching Taken and Quantam of Solace also. Also, my most anticipated game WAS FFXIII but since apparently we get the shaft I'll be all over Heavy Rain.

And as for Obama, I'm all for change. We'll just all have to sit back and patiently wait to see what he's going to do.

Ooh, for me? Glad I could help! ...How exactly did I help you set up your online connection?

I personally like Obama. But even if McCain won, one thing is for sure; they can't do much worse than Bush. And I think the Cardinals will win; mainly because no one expects them to. Just like no one expected them to make it this far. No Hockey for me, though.

Me personally, I'm excited for Halo Wars. Bayonetta looks good too, and I'm also hoping the Portal sequel and the new Zelda for Wii will come out soon too.

Let's see... question... how about you? What are you looking forward to in 2009 for games?

By the way, my last blog was an "ask me anything" blog in case you didn't know, so think of some questions if you'd like.

Brennan- I'm really sorry about your copy of Killzone, dude. That was sad to hear (or read). I was one of the players who played Killzone when it first came out. I didn't really have any problem with the gun mechanics (which is the main blame toward it), but the graphics (even at the time) irked me. However, from what I see of K2, I guessing they got the gist about graphics. I mean, WOW!

CamiKitten- Your husband must have been happy with Manning as the MVP at least. Defiantly, defiantly, defiantly see Gran Torino (especially if you already like Eastwood). I saw a commercial for Taken, and it caught my interest. It looks a little too dramatic, but I'll probably see it. According to the new Issue of Game Informer, there is a growing chance that Heavy Rain might slip to 2010. So....yeah. As for FF13, I have a solution for you! The game is set to release sometime later this year in Japan. That gives you a full year to learn Japanese. All PS3's are region free, so your system can play an imported copy. Then again, I tried learning Japanese and ended up to a big "epic fail".

Cloud551- I guess I kinda worded that incorrectly. I should have said you 'motivated' me to actually set up my online connection, opposed to just never use the online function of the Wii, which is surprisingly well managed. I do notice some major lag in online games sometimes (*coughBRAWLcough*). I guess I hope the Cards win, but kinda doubt it. Then again, I said that exact thing about the Giants-Pats, and that was awesome. Halo Wars is looking better and better with each screenshot released, however Starcraft 2 will have me all RTS'd-out. And that, Starcraft 2, is my most anticipated (after spend 1/3 of my childhood on Blizzard battle net; the other 2/3 in Pokemon). As for a question for you, I will start thinking and post them when I get some. What are your plans for the audio blogs?

Well I wanted McCain to win not Obama and I'm not looking forward to the future. lol. And I hope the Steelers win!! woot woot!! lol. Gran Torino was an awesome movie and I do agree with the gang members not being that good of actors, was still a good movie though. I also plan to see Taken and I hope thats good too. ^_^ And I'm looking forward to RE5!!

DarkxSoul- I agree that I have questions about the future, but its out of my control now. And I am glad to see that I am not crazy about the gang actors. They were just plain, old stale. Particularly, during the scene in front of the grocery store. At least Eastwood absolutely brought it home (like always). The Steelers will probably win. I mean, you can't deny the strength of their defense (especially Polamalu). As for RE5, I'm not sure about it. I loved RE4, but then played Dead Space, then kinda didn't like RE4 as much. I think it is the not being able to aim and walk feature. But, the co-op should be good.
