I'm actually still curious to play it.

Had it on my mind since before it was released.

I'm sure it's terrible, but I feel that I should give it a shot....maybe.

It looked like a bad game when I watched the gameplay trailers.

But.. but.. its Golden Axe! you mean the name alone dosent carry the title.. my reality lays in tatters

@IpodHero176 - I never really watch trailers, but I really got the impression from all reviewers and players that the game would suck, contrary to my faith in Golden Axe. I'm just glad I'm out 15$ instead of 60.

@Mangaminx - I called this the Unlimited Saga of beatemups. Say for instance Unlimited Saga was called Final Fantasy Saga, it would still suck. Same for this game.

@Garrison_Ford - I wanted to like it, but it was so repulsively bad that I quit an hour into playing. And yea, just doing my civic duty.

@N8A - Indeed, recommend this to your enemies and they will perish and disappear from the face of the earth. You shall be victorious and prosper, your foes shall fall before you and beg for mercy and ask you to take the game out of the console.

Oh, I've seen the reviews of this game. I think most of the developers at Secret Level got new identities and crossed the border just to avoid being linked to that thing. Not to even include a simple 2-3 player co-op was a sin, they completely forgot what made Golden Axe great, the ability to play with friends! Great review, recommended.

@SciFiCat - I read that interview. "We think the game stands on it's own merit and was designed as a single player experience and if fan reaction is good we will make a sequel with possible multiplayer action". That's almost a direct quote from the developers.

In other words, there won't be a sequel. Why the hell is it that these people are so arrogant that they think Sega is gonna even allow them to touch that franchise again, let alone say that "the game stands on its own merits"? How bout they say, we screwed up, we are sorry and we'll release a patch to fix the game as much as possible and add a 2 player co-op. Like hell anybody is going to shell out another 60 bones on a sequel.

@SciFiCat - I'm going to ask when I go to a mall how many copies of this lame (yes, lame, not game) was sold at full price at my local gamestop. I doubt it's a lot, if any. And for real, why the hell was there no coop from the start? And I really failed to see how they made this game so crappy. I mean the opening montage just cuts out and goes to a load screen for god sakes. Maybe I should have listened to the dude who had the most recommendations on amazon.com.

When I first heard about it I was semi interested but when gameplay videos surfaced I could see it was lackluster gameplay and a very unfinished game...now-a-days you cant make a crappy game and expect us to run out and buy it cause not only do we rely on reviews, gameplay videos, and word of mouth to warn us about purchasing said games you need to make games that are worth us spending 60 dollars or guess what we are not going to buy it...So in short...all us Gamers have to stick together especially when lackluster games surface trying to devour our hard earned money...Later...

@PhantomMarvel - Indeed. Which I WANTED to play this game just because it was Golden Axe. But the 15$ I paid for it wasn't even worth it. I hear you man, thanks for that substantial response.

@AzelKosMos - I know. I think they should have a Sega Ruins Too Many Franchises support group. Well technically it wasn't Sega's fault beyond letting these slobs handle it.
