2009 approaches, and Searchy gets one year closer to keeling over. Joy!

Someone finally created a Gunstar Blue page at GiantBomb...and they might have borrowed my sig. Maybe. I'm not too sure...

Originally, I was disgruntled about that...but then I realized that I'm beginning to become synonymous with Gunstar Blue. One step closer to being a true Gunstar.

I finished Jump Ultimate Stars yesterday. I'll admit that it was mostly due to me spamming Seiya's Pegasus Meteor Fist. >_> I haven't tried playing online yet, but I imagine the lag will be tremendous...

After like a year and three months, I finally finished Zeta Gundam.

Now it's time for "Obligatory Searchy New Years Resolutions!" *throws confetti*

-My knowledge of the Japanese language will extend beyond Katakana, and into *gasp* Hiragana. =D

-I will watch and complete an anime that isn't Gundam.

-I will watch and complete an anime that is Gundam.

-I will bash SEED 5% less than before.

-I will play a console game to completion.

-I will become Gunstar.

-I will actually beat SD Gundam G Generation Portable (OK, maybe not...)

Most of it I've already gone over, but there's some stuff that I hadn't mentioned and some stuff that I just received today.

Searchy was given:
-Sonic Unleashed. I've already had my rant on this one. XP
-A nifty pair of shoes. I don't really get into having shiny new clothes (quite the opposite), but I really like these shoes for some reason. Now to see if they can handle my insane 90-minute walks from college campus to my house...
-$200, half of which I used today to buy stuff listed in bold.

Searchy bought for himself:
-Mega Man ZX/Advent. I beat ZX, and got pretty far into ZX Advent, but I haven't touched either in a while.
-Zeta Gundam Complete Collection Volumes 1 and 2. Buying Volume 1 completely invalidates my purchase of Episodes 1-10 last year, but it's worth it just to see Amuro fend off an Asshimar with just an airplane. I only got it for $10 under suggested retail price at Best Buy. =/
-Gundam Wing Complete Collection Volumes 1 and 2. Still haven't been opened. I'll probably get to them after I finish Zeta.
-Xbox 360 Wired Controller. Okay, so little bro helped me pay for this one, but I paid a slight majority of the cost. Doubles as a PC gamepad...but I don't really do PC gaming...
-Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space. I've been eyeing this game for a while now, but hesitated to buy it until today. Don't know if that was a good idea or not...
-Jump Ultimate Stars. I was so shocked to see my local Play N Trade carry the game that I just HAD to buy it. They also had Naruto: Narutimate Portable and Ouendan 2. =O

Overall, I'm satisfied. Actually, I would've been okay with not getting anything, so I'm tons more than satisfied.

In other news, I finished watching Gundam 0080 last night. Not much of an action show like most Gundam series, but it really wasn't meant to be.

So, I guess that's all I have...

...of course it isn't. XP

Haven't played much into it, but everything seems good aside from a strange glitch that causes pilot/unit names and some other text to disappear at random (but it is an "untested beta" after all).
