Well as you have already notice my previous blog entry was erased and I was demoted back to Level 25. Also, yesterday some of the images in my gallery were removed because they where deemed "Sexually Explicit" Here is an idea: I want you to go right now and check the images that Gamespot itself has posted for the coverage of games such as Dead or Alive Xtreme 1, Rumble Roses XX, X Blades, and even Street Fighter 4 (look for Cammy) and tell me if those images have an equal standing or go even further than the ones I've posted here. Go ahead, look for them and then come back ... Are you done, good
So I cannot post images like that but GameSpot itself can?!? If that is not an unfair double standard, I don't know what it is. I'm European, maybe I have a more open minded view of what is sexually explicit and what is not, after all the games I mentioned are rated by ESRB as Mature while PEGI rates them as +12. It seems US citizens are OK with images of extreme violence (Gears of War, God of War, Saw and John Rambo) but little Billy cannot see a boob because he will be scarred for life. Here is a concept all citizens of the United States and any democratic country can understand:
1ST Amendment Rights are equal for everyone, this blog entry is my exercise of such rights.
BTW, by the time you read this, I would have taken down by my own initiative some of the other images in my gallery that may be deemed "too spicy" for this site as well, apparently 13 year old can't seen women in bikinis, they minds could melt, your lost GameSpot. You can still find them on my deviantArt account, where I don't have to deal with this kind of hypocrisy. And no, I'm not going anywhere, I'm still staying here.
Now tell me what you think. P.S: Also I would like to point out to the troll that flagged my images in the fist place, if you think that by that you have quelled my resolve to continue doing my illustration, you are sorely mistaken, no, now my determination to continue improving and creating more artwork has been spurred even further. I'm not gonna even bother insulting you, you are not worth the effort. I'll just keep creating art pieces for the world to see. What have you done lately to enrich the life of others?

but the first amendment does not apply to private institutions, corporations, or as in this case privately owned and operated sites.
Civil liberties are not being infringed upon but the the rules of the company that owns this site are made in order to protect the sensibilities of all who may view the area and some are very young.
while the minimum age to register here is 13 there are much younger that look at the blogs and forums with their parents or siblings, there is that to consider also.
that is my thoughts on the matter.

Yeah I can never understand that about the good old US we can show someone get blown up, but any little amount of nudity and its head for the hills and I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you.

I ran into the exact same problem with a too-hot-for-the-internet sig of an anime girl's bare back (not the lower back mind you) almost 2 years ago and tried to argue with the exact same argument of Gamespot's own image gallery. There's just no winning here, we have no rights other than what the mods extrapolate from the ToU and that's ultimately a useless guide line because mods have different standards.

Don't even worry about it. You can still post your art up on other sites. Nobody could ever win in an argument against gamespot. I tried 2 years about and I ended up getting a 5 day suspension.

I love violence AND (partial) nudity. I see you've never been modded before. For the upstanding members of the community, it's some trivial matter that gets you in trouble because of some jerk who doesn't like you. I've been modded 3 times and that was 3 times more than I deserved. It's all politics here. And yes, while everyone has said their house their rules, that's true, but the double standard easily applies to GS, and if it weren't for the community, I'd have left a long time ago.

Sorry I did not remember your level before it was demoted down to 25. What were you at before? That really sucks about what happened. Guess I'll have to be going to deviantArt.

Sorry about that man. It is true, I've seen some explicit (yet great) shots of Cammy.
What is your deviantArt account? Mine's GraffitiImp.

Too bad for that, at least the pics are still on DA, purist people sucks.

Geez, that seems unfair. Not only because I've never seen anything in your work that could be deemed explicit, but also because the person who reported it is obviously void of any tangible hobbies, life, or meaningful existence. Oops, hope I don't get modded for that.
