Today I went on a long ride bareback with some friends and their dog. Was great to just be carried around in the snowy fields by a huge warm creature. I always call riding horses 'soul therapy' because the relaxation and connection you get with the animal always leaves me feeling all tired and happy. (Except of course for when I ride the rascal Fjolka who keeps tossing me off -.-)

Later tonight my friend has planned a little memorial for Slash, we're going to bake a cake and make offerings to Freya and Bast.

Tried the 'Bayonetta' demo a couple of days ago. IN LOVE!!!

I've lost my dearest friend and companion this month. My cat Slash got acute kidney failure and had to be put down. I'm walking around in a daze. I can't believe he's gone. Talking about him and sharing good memories with my sister will occasionally help but deep down I know my heart can't deal with the fact that I'm going to be without him from now on. I constantly miss his warm and soft little body, and hearing him purr in the mornings and pressing his cold little nose against mine to wake me up. It hurts.

My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend stopped running today.

Well, lately I've been feeling like crap on a huge pile of dung in a vast field of manure, but I'm getting a renewed prescription for my medication on Monday, so hopefully and probably that'll sort things right out.

Have also made a new, pretty friend and am going to his house tomorrow evening for some veggie chow and intense anime watching. Woot and things to the same extent.

Tomorrow morning I'm going riding without a saddle out in scary snowy weather. Pray for me and lend me your mittens!
