This is the first chapter for my first ever fanfic. Please comment!

*Aang, Katara, Sokka and Momo are all sitting on Appa's back*
Katara: "Aang are you sure we should stop here? I can't see anyone...anywhere." *she looks down at the ground disapprovingly*
Aang: "Don't worry, Katara. I've been here plenty of times." *he looks at her comfortingly*
Katara: "Alright," she says halfheartedly.
*Appa lands and Sokka falls off, Aang airbends to the ground and Katara jumps and lands lightly on her feet. They all look around then decide to split up. Momo, Appa and Aang go in one direction while Sokka and Katara go in another. Sokka and Katara soon come across a huge oak tree. They both sit with their backs against the trunk. Suddenly, Sokka jumps to his feet declaring that he smells smoke. Katara peeks around the enormous trunk and finds a young man about the age of 16 with what looks like a fresh burn, on the left side of his face. He looks exhausted and seems to be in pain. He is dressed in Earth Kingdom clothing. His short, shaggy hair is sticking to the burn, so Katara leans over him to brush the hair away from it. Faster than she can react, his hand has connected with her wrist and locked around it...tight. Katara struggles but to no avail. Sokka hears her and steps around the trunk.*
Sokka (to the young man): Let go of my sister you creep!
*His eyes fly open with lightning fast at Sokka's words and Katara stops struggling, shocked by their beautiful, butterscotch color. He slowly relaxes his grip on her wrist and stands, revealing a set of broadswords hanging from a belt around his waist, leaving Katara on her knees. His silvery, blue eyes follow his every move; his eyes smile down at her but, the smile doesn't reach his mouth. He notices Sokka staring distrustfully at him and turns to stare right back, with a look that could send a saber-tooth moose-lion running. Sokka couldn't compete with that so he looked down at Katara*
Sokka (to Katara): "Are you all right?"
Katara: "Yes, I'm fine."
(Note from me: you've probably firgured out who 'the young man' is. So I'm just gonna use his name)
Zuko: "I'm sorry if I scared you. You just startled me."
*Katara stands up*
Katara (to Zuko): "It's fine. So what is your name?"
*Zuko looks down at the ground.*
Zuko: "My name is...Zuko"
Katara: "Well...Zuko, I'm Katara and this is my brother, Sokka" *points to Sokka. Zuko nods*
Katara (to Zuko): "So, what were you doing sleeping all the way out here? *looks around* Are you traveling with anyone?"
Zuko: "I was just resting before I moved on. And, yes, I'm traveling with my uncle. He's wondered off to find some water. I don't know when he'll be back."
*Just then the bushes rustle and out comes Uncle Iroh, Aang and Momo, soon followed by Appa sticking his head through. Zuko seems very surprised by the sudden appearance of his uncle and Aang, and especially Appa. Katara sees this and giggles. Iroh smiles at the sound of her laughter and looks questioningly at his nephew.*
Aang (to Iroh): "Wow, you were right!"
Iroh: "Yes, I thought that your friends would find my nephew. So, Katara, Aang has told me that you're headed to Ba Sing Se."
Katara: "Yes, we are. Would you like to travel with us?"
*Zuko looks at his uncle; his eyes pleading him to say no to her request.*
Iroh: "Of course, we would be honored to acompany you to Ba Sing Se."
*Zuko stared at Iroh with the same look he gave Sokka. iroh nods and gives him a reassuring look. Luckily, Katara did not notice this exchange; for if she had, she may have suspected that her friends and her might be in danger.*

I can't stand it! I've been waiting for 2 amazing new seasons for different shows to start. I've tried to be patient. I want to see the 3rd season of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Danny Phantom. i love both of these shows so mucha nd can't wait any longer for either of them! Nick has aired 6 new Danny Phantom episodes in Latin America. This is a North American show so obviously it should be aired in the US first. it doesn't make any sense. It takes time to translate so while they're translating it they can show them in the US. And after they aired in the Latin America they were aired in Canada (well, some of 'em).

Nick is just trying to irritate us and I don't know why! First they tell us it's gonna be cancelled! Then they promise us 6 new episodes and they end up in spanish! Nick has a lot of issues that they nee to work out but, while they're doing that they can show Danny! *runs out of breath from yelling at Nick*

This is sort of the summary for my new fan fiction. Well, actually it's part of the story.

Zuko, Aang, Katara, Sokka and Iroh were all in the Earth Kingdom temple. They had blue mats on the floor for sleeping. Zuko was only a year older than Katara. Aang, Katara, Sokka and Iroh were sitting in a ring in the middle of the room. Zuko was sitting on his mat with his head hanging between his legs. Then Iroh announced that it was time to go to school. Zuko asked Katara what lesson they would be going over in school today, she lied. She said they were learning about Earth Kingdom cultures. (She lied because Zuko won't go to school when they talk about the Fire Nation. Btw, they don't know Iroh and him are FN) Then they head off to school. When they get there, Zuko reads the board, it says "Today we're learning about the Fire Nation." Zuko swiftly turns to Katara with a hateful look burning in his butterscotch colored eyes. She is clueless as to why that is. Zuko realizes that it is too late now. As the teacher enters the room the students take their seats. Katara's seat is to the left of Zuko. She requested this seat. (for obvious reasons) The teacher, Master Chang, begins the lesson. He starts talking about Fire Lord Ozai, at the mention of the name, Zuko seems agitated. Katara looks at him curiously. He talks about Ozai's children, saying that very few things are known about them. Some is known about his son. he informs the class that Ozai punished his son for speaking out of turn at a meeting. He was challenged to an Agnai Kai...and lost. Zuko looked as if he wanted to jump up and run out of the class. Master Chang noticed this and asked if Zuko needed to say something. Zuko replied calmly with a simple "no, Master Chang." Master Chang then tells the class that Ozai banished his son because he saw him as disgraceful. Zuko hangs his head at the teacher's words. Katara watches him out of the corner of her eye. Master Chang then says that Ozai's son is wanted by the FN and that he has a scar on the left side of his face. The master shoots a stern look at Zuko and everyone else in the classroom peers at him from behind books. Not wanting him to notice their stares as they are reminded of his temper. Suddenly the gonging of the school bell rouses them and Zuko is out the door in a flash. (He never carries books) Zuko runs out the door of the school; no one bothering to stop him. He sprints to the temple where they are staying and quickly explains the situation the his uncle. He tells him that they must leave before the others get back from school. To which Iroh tells him a firm "no." Saying that if they were to leave every time someone suspects them of being FN that they would have no place to go. Also adding the fact that Katara would miss him immensly.

Katara and the others arrive to find Zuko laying on his back with his hands behind his head on the mat layed out for him. When they enter he just glances in their direction and rolls over, turning his back on them. This infuriates Aang and Sokka. Katara takes a few steps forward but Aang yells at her to stop because he might kill her. She swings around to stare at Aang. "If wanted to kill us, he would have done it long ago! Not everyone from the Fire Nation is evil! We don't even know if he can firebend!" When Katara turns back to Zuko he is laying on his back again with one arm beneath his head and the other raised in the air with a ball of flame resting in his open palm. "Well, now you know I can firebend. I guess it's time for you to either kill me now or run and tell the Earth King. Since Aang is the Avatar, it would make more sense for him to kill me." They all stare at him with wide eyes. Katara asks how he knew, and Zuko replies (still on his back)"He's the last known airbender, so it's obvious that he is the Avatar. Also , when I was banished, my father said that the only way to regain my honor is to catch the Avatar. But, I knew that it would be a hopeless quest. Only leading to my demise, which is what Ozai wishes of me. Even if I were to win the war myself and hand Aang to him in a steel cage he would not return my honor. And, Katara, you were right. Not all Fire Nation are evil. My uncle and I are wanted traitors of the Fire Naion," Zuko then stands and extinguishes the fire ball by closing his fist. Sokka and Aang take a step back, "so you have a few options: 1) Rid the world of me and my uncle 2) Accept us for who we are and allow us to live here-which I highly doubt you will 3) Tell the Earth King about our presence so that he may kill us 4) Run us out of here." he then lays down again with his arms supporting his head. Katara, Sokka and Aang whisper for a while, then Katara hesitantly makes her way over to Zuko who has now shifted his position to where he is sitting cross-legged on the floor. Katara gets to her knees and places her hand on his left shoulder, he turns to look at her and sees a tear running over his scar. She leans closer to him and embraces(hugs) him for a second. Katara laughs at the expression on Zuko's scarred face as she pulls away. "I always thought Fire Nation couldn't cry," she giggle a little "guess I was wrong." Zuko then asks what they've decided. "Well, we're not going to kill you," he seems a little surprised by this "or your uncle, we're not gonna run you out or report you. In fact we've decided to accept you for who you are-well I have-Aang and Sokka aren't so keen on my decicion. To tell you the truth, the first time we met I had suspected that you were refugees and you had something to hide. But I never could have imagined the truth." Zuko smiled at this. "I guess I'm a man of many talents." Katara giggled some more and hugged him again. She looked up into his butterscotch eyes and stopped laughing. "You know your eyes are beautiful." Zuko closed his eyes and turned his head, unintentionally putting the scarred side of his face towards Katara. She slowly reached up with two fingers and lightly touched the outer scar. He caught her hand and put it in her lap. She quickly apologized.
