Welcome to the weekend! YEA! I am so ready for this one to start but oh so eager for it to be over! Yes... this is the last weekend before the big day... MONDAY NIGHT! ![]()
First of all... I want to chat about some gaming news from my little corner of the world! I completed CSI : Deadly Intent this week and found it to be an awesome game!

It was very different from the first one, but in alot of great ways. If you love the show, and puzzle games, and detective work, this game is so for you. They really did a great storyline and I must admit, that I was quite shocked by the ending.
I also picked up the latest installment of a game for my Nintendo DSI.

Pokemon Platinum has been out for a while, but I just was waiting for it to go down in price or get a game to trade towards it. Well I used the CSI Deadly Intent as a trade for it and it brought the price down to something I would be willing to pay for it. I have yet to start it... simply because I need to finish up Pokemon Diamond but that should happen very soon. I am at the last battle in that game... but need to strengthen my team up more to be able to win.
Most of my friends here know that I used to not be into horror games much because I used to get scared very easily... but I have been getting tougher over the years, playing games like Doom 3, Alone in the Dark, Dead Rising and others, so now I feel I am ready to play a game that was both recommended to me (By my good friend mimic-Denmark) and because I have been looking at it for sometime in the local Gamestop and thought I might like to play it.

I have never played any of the Silent Hill series... simply because I have not got to own a Playstation yet... but feel that this game looks like I will really enjoy it! I have seen a few videos from it on the internet and feel that I will really like it, but I hear from the people at the Gamestop it is very scary and evil! Either way I will venture forth and be brave! (With my trusty stuffed elephant so near to clutch when I get scared!) ![]()
Finally I got to see something tonight... yes... I saw the future... and it looks very very very very very cool! I got to see the something early that I preordered over 2 months ago... and as of 12:00 Midnight on Monday Night... it will be mine! Oh yes... monday can not come soon enough! ![]()

I pray God Blesses you all this weekend both in your gaming as well as in your daily lives. Take care and remember to make time for playing games this weekend! ![]()
Well I hope everybody has had a wonderful weekend so far. I got to go out to dinner last night with a wonderful friend and watch the hockey game (Montreal Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs). What an awesome game it was! I never have seen such a great game in a long time, both in playing as well as in how it got so brutal! Those two teams were really playing well and it was very intense. It all came down to a shootout and yes... the Montreal Canadiens won! YEA! ![]()
In gaming news... I just passed the 30K mark on my XBox 360 Achievment Score! Whoo Hoo! ![]()

I just passed my 2 year mark of playing on that system and feel this is a pretty decent score for me being I don't play everyday. I did recently upgrade to the XBox Elite and really do like it alot... being I can now write my games to the hard drive and play more quietly, plus it stays so much cooler too!

Now to work towards 40K! I am making slow but steady progress after one of my friends (trying to pass her score) but she is such an awesome gamer... I don't know if that is going to happen soon... but I will give it my best! She was miles ahead of my... but look! Who is that coming around the corner Miss Morphine??? Yes... it is I Sandpiper121PP! Can I pass your Achievement Score??? Only time will tell! ![]()
I have been playing games as well this weekend as well... but still have not yet finished Batman.

Don't get me wrong... it is a great game... but for some reason I just cannot get into it for over 1/2 hour at a time. It has the most amazing graphics and the story is pretty good too... but I just cannot seem to get really into it. I know it is a truely amazing game... and I am not putting it down... but for me it just seems to be missing something. Maybe I am at a certain point in the game and I will get the spark I need to keep going.
I did however pick up CSI: Deadly Intent.

I love puzzle games like that where you have to put it all together and figure out the crime, who did it, and why. The first one was pretty good... but they really did a great job on this one. You now can pan around the room and interact with all different objects in the room. You are also scored by how well you do in the following three catagories. Skill (Lab Work), thoroughness (how well you do your investigative work looking for clues) and then Cunning (how well you interogate the witness). This time there is a twist though where you are graded not just on how well you do in these catagories... but if you mess up too. If you analize something wrong, or ask an improper question without cause or proof to back it up, your final score will suffer. It really makes you a better detective in the game, knowing you must watch your every step. If you love detective/puzzle games, I recommend it for you!
It is also the official 10 day countdown now to yes... Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2!

I so am ready for this game to come out! I actually decided not to go to the midnight release of it... simply because I am getting the Prestige Edition. Because of the cost of it... and the area I live in... I don't feel safe getting that at a midnight release party, only to step outside with the chance of being robbed. I think I will wait until after work to pick it up when there is more daylight. ![]()

Remember if you haven't already to set your clocks back! Yea!!! We all gained an hour!!! ![]()
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and week too! I pray God Blesses each of you in your daily lives and that you have happiness where ever you may roam! ![]()
