First of all I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your weekend! Put the work behind you, take your shoes off, grab some good food, and relax at home with a good friend or by yourself, with an awesome book or a great movie, or maybe play a new game or relive memories playing an old one!

CatRelaxWeekend

Being old man winter is just around the corner... the temperature is a nice cool 48 to 58 here each day... so I think that a nice warm fire is going to be on the must have list...

Fireplace

Along with it I will have some fun snacks and maybe even a nice warm cup of hot cocoa with little marshmallows! YUM!

Of course there will be the must needed Video Game fix... but alas... I have to find one from my Stack O' Games Pile to finish... simply because yes... I did it...I have completed my latest edition!

CallofDutyModernWarfare2MetalCase

I first of all would like to sum up how I feel about this game in one word... WOW! I was so impressed by this game! Simply one of the bestest sequels to any game I have ever played. It has such an awesome storyline, and if you haven't done so... you really need to play Call of Duty : Modern Warfare first. Then it will all make so much sense to you. I had alot of my friends who beat this game the same night they purchased it... but I wanted to make it last and only played it a little each day. I also played it on "Veteran" and yes... I did beat it too!

CallofDutyModernWarfare2VeteranComp

AllI have left now is to go thru and do the clean up of the left over achievements to get the last 390/1000 for a full completion!

I will probably return back to Eternal Sonata now... and maybe finally finish up Batman. I have found a couple of games that I might want to get before the end of the year... but nothing really that says "You gotta purchase me" really at the local store. So I figure when winter is over... I will probably have my Stack O' Games pile pretty much finished up. There is only about 15 games in it and most of them are pretty much over 1/2 done or better.

Take care my friends this weekend to play safe... and stay warm too! I pray God Blesses each of you every week in countless ways! Always rememeber to be "Extra Kind" to everyone you meet... and do something nice for someone too! That is what we all need in this world to make it a better place!

Is it already Saturday??? Wow! This week sure was a long one but I am so glad that the weekend is finally here! Time to play some games and relax!

First of all... yes I did get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I purchased the Prestige Edition and must say that the Night Vision Goggles that came with it are very cool!

CallofDutyModernWarfare2Box

I keep hearing that the campaign part of the game is not that long... but I am playing in Veteran Mode so it is taking me a little longer than if I had played it in the easy mode. The gameplay is very nice. I really do like the fact that the enemies don't keep respawning like they did in Call of Duty 4, BUT they are alot smarter now it seems. I do feel that Veteran Mode is not quite as hard as it was in the previous version... but still a challenge for me. I played the levels 'Takedown' and 'The Hornet's Nest' last night and must say they so far were my most favorite in the game. The house to house search with rooftop snipers and window ones as well made it rather tough... but gave the game a great lasting impression on me.

I also started playing Eternal Sonata again.

EternalSonataCover

I love this game so very much! The graphics are simply amazing and being it is one of my very first RPG's that I have really gotten into... I am wanting it to last a good amount of time. You do have to do 2 plays thru the entire game to get all of the achievements... (which you all know how I am about that! ) so I plan on doing that even though I am simply enjoying the game to the fullest!

I also have been playing alot on my Nintendo DSI lately. I really do enjoy having it for late night, can't sleep gaming! I have as of yet not even started Pokemon Platinum... simply because I still have yet to beat Pokemon Diamond.

PokemonDiamond

I need to find a way to make my team stronger so I can beat the last level... but feel I may have to do alot more battling to make that happen. It was my very first one ever... so it was a learning curve for me... so I hope Pokemon Platinum goes much easier for me.

Well winter is now decending on my area... and the snow level is dropping fast... so it has gotten colder here now considerably. With that means firewood and lots of gaming! I shall see you on a more frequent basis than as of lately, simply because I have been so very busy at work... but when the holidays come it gets slower.

Have a wonderful weekend, be safe, stay warm, may God Bless each and every one of you, and have fun playing your games!

Welcome to the weekend! YEA! I am so ready for this one to start but oh so eager for it to be over! Yes... this is the last weekend before the big day... MONDAY NIGHT!

First of all... I want to chat about some gaming news from my little corner of the world! I completed CSI : Deadly Intent this week and found it to be an awesome game!

CSIDeadlyIntent

It was very different from the first one, but in alot of great ways. If you love the show, and puzzle games, and detective work, this game is so for you. They really did a great storyline and I must admit, that I was quite shocked by the ending.

I also picked up the latest installment of a game for my Nintendo DSI.

PokemonPlatinumBox

Pokemon Platinum has been out for a while, but I just was waiting for it to go down in price or get a game to trade towards it. Well I used the CSI Deadly Intent as a trade for it and it brought the price down to something I would be willing to pay for it. I have yet to start it... simply because I need to finish up Pokemon Diamond but that should happen very soon. I am at the last battle in that game... but need to strengthen my team up more to be able to win.

Most of my friends here know that I used to not be into horror games much because I used to get scared very easily... but I have been getting tougher over the years, playing games like Doom 3, Alone in the Dark, Dead Rising and others, so now I feel I am ready to play a game that was both recommended to me (By my good friend mimic-Denmark) and because I have been looking at it for sometime in the local Gamestop and thought I might like to play it.

SilentHillHomecomingBox

I have never played any of the Silent Hill series... simply because I have not got to own a Playstation yet... but feel that this game looks like I will really enjoy it! I have seen a few videos from it on the internet and feel that I will really like it, but I hear from the people at the Gamestop it is very scary and evil! Either way I will venture forth and be brave! (With my trusty stuffed elephant so near to clutch when I get scared!)

Finally I got to see something tonight... yes... I saw the future... and it looks very very very very very cool! I got to see the something early that I preordered over 2 months ago... and as of 12:00 Midnight on Monday Night... it will be mine! Oh yes... monday can not come soon enough!

CallofDutyModernWarfarePrestigePack

I pray God Blesses you all this weekend both in your gaming as well as in your daily lives. Take care and remember to make time for playing games this weekend!
