Well it has been a while since my last blog...well not really only 11 days but still

As the blog title says Ive decided to take my only "cinematic journey", corny name isnt it but it means exactly what it says. Ive decided to start watching a bunch of older films. It started after watching "The Passion of Joan of Arc" which was an amazing film with one of the best performances I have ever seen.

Ive started with Ingmar Bergman. So far ive watched "Wild Strawberries", "The Seventh Seal" and "The Virgin Spring".
I really enjoyed "The Virgin Spring" but so far its my least favorite of the three. I thought "The Seventh Seal" was a thought provoking and fantastic film. And what did I think about "Wild Strawberries"......?

Well it is now my new favorite film. Yes that is right, "The Insider" no longer holds the top spot. My review of "Wild Strawberries" and why I think it is so great, along with the reviews of the other films mentioned can be found here in my FAU Film Journal:

I plan to continue watching Bergman films and then move onto Kurosawa.

The "Mad Men" season premiere is tomorrow night and Im very excited, they ended the second season with many cliff hangers.

Other then that life has been pretty good. I go back to school in a few weeks which Im excited for. I played the demo for the new Batman game and thought it was great, I might end up buying it.

So yeah, thats about it...

P.S. I plan to bring Saints Haven back once I go back to school.

I plan on watching those films soon. They're on my Netflix queue, somewhere. I still think you should delve more into Hitchcock's filmography.

I don't really know why, but I can't STAND "The Passion of Joan of Arc."

I love Ingmar Bergman though.

Those films all look good. I should definitely check them out some time.

I go back to college very soon too. So I really don't know how much that will interfere with my time on Gamespot, but hopefully it won't be too bad.
