Hail all,

So - I'm in Buy Mode. I'm considering buying an iPhone. It has all the features I like and then some, and the latest models seem to be solid. So yeah, it's something I'm considering.
But I am also in Debt Mode....
Having just returned from Central America, where I've spent the last 6 months, I've overspent my budget and am now slightly in debt. Not a huge debt mind you, but a little debt.
Damn Buy Mode...
Cheers,
Saga.

Should be the last travel journal entry for a while. I'm back in Australia, though I still haven't returned home. I'm in Melbourne now, just enjoying the last of my holiday travels while I still can. This was an expensive but uplifting holiday that did me well - I have fond memories and longing to return to what has been my home for these past few months. I have meticulously kept records of that time though, and over time, I will be sharing it with you all.
I'm very grateful to all who commented and joined me on Facebook.
I'll be uploading many many videos and photos to that website in short order. Look out for them.
Cheers,
Saga.

Dear Australia,
Well, the time has finally come to go home. Australia - I've been away far too long. Six months in fact. In the time that I've left you, I have travelled through Canada, U.S.A, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvadorand Honduras. Yet, I couldn't stay away forever, much as I tried to, and am now seemingly forced to leave a place I have truly come to love.
I know, I know... That wasn't the plan when I left you. You cried, your citizens cried, my family cried at my departure. It was destined to only be 3 months, not 6. I know, I know... I was only meant to stay in the U.S.A - possibly Canada if I so chose.
But sometimes travel has a funny way of taking a life of it's own and pushing you into unexpected places. In fact, very briefly, I was to head to Jamaica, a place I had never considered before.
And yet, while I feel at home here, it doesn't have all the comfortsthat you provide. And besides, working here, while fun, didn't provide the level of benefits that you pride yourself on. Australians are a nice bunch, I meet many of them on my travels. It speaks well for you. You lovingly send us on the way, knowing that eventually, we'll return...
I guess "I still call Australia home" shouldn't just be a QANTAS advert. It should bloody well be our Anthem.
So, I'm returning soon. I'll be back home in just a week actually. It's been quite a while. And if you want, I'll buy you a beer and tell you a yarn.
I've been missing VB, I tell ya.
Cheers, and love always,
Sagacious Tien.
