I have always been a JRPG fanatic, I have been playing Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest series since I can remember.

I love my 360 and when I heard of Blue Dragon finally having a demo on the market place I decided to check it out. I dont play a lot of demos, but this one I had to check out.

I wasnt exactly "blown away" but at the same time I loved the experience. The battles were easy to get into but the ability to swap out character classes will bring a lot of depth to the experience. There is also a hard difficulty in the demo, which I am guessing will make to the final cut, that should bring about some challenges.

It is very kiddy looking, and you can definately see the Final Fantasy and Dragonball influences throughout the game. SHu the main character looks a little like Goku, but sadly the Kamehameha did not make the game.

I am very excited for the release of this game, I hope the story line gives player a long and enjoyable experience.

I agree with you on that demo, it wasn't as breath taking as I was hoping, infact if anything it was kind of dull. I really like going through towns and villages more than anything in RPGs so being forced to just do 2 dungeons, especially with the time limits made it less fun.

Should be a good game though.

I think that there will be some towns involved, they were just giving us a taste mostly of actual combat with the dragon system involved. But if not, then yeah I will be a little disappointed as well.

Yeah I knew there would be towns, I just would have liked to see something of them within the demo was my only concern for it :p

I hate JRPG. They seem so odd imo. the stories are just odd...

Sometimes the stories are a little off the wall, but its different. I just like the turn based action. Always have. I respect your opinion though

Hello Sacif,

Got to agree with all your comments on Blue Dragon but I'm sure the full game will come up trumps, really need to get a new JRPG it makes a nice change from racing and shooting - in fact it's the odd stories that make them for me!!!

Yeah I have to agree with Anabub, the stories are what make it worth continuing onwards for, and some of them are truely amazing.

yes I agree with both of you as well, the stories hold your attention because they are indeed so weird. One of my favorite "odd" storied RPGs was Legend of Dragoon. It was such a fun game and the story just sucked me in.
