Bleh, Monday was a little much. I just started the rifle range this week, which is a week long field exercise to receive training on the M16A4 service rifle. It's long hours (we have to show up at the range before the sun is up, and usually get done in the early evening), and Monday was especially hot. I had a mild case of heat stroke and passed out shortly after getting back home. It was miserable.

Today was a little better at least, thanks to some excellent cloud cover and a bit lower temperature. (Only 80 versus 90 degrees!)

Anyway, Sunday night, I put the finishing touches on The Simpsons Game, and I do mean finishing touches. At a smooth 1000 GamerScore points, this is the first game in a while that I just completely curb-stomped to victory! I had a bit of trouble achieving some of the time trials and target times for the episodes, but overall, the game wasn't too difficult, especially once I found all the various character trophies, giving me an infinite supply of energy. Overall, not a bad title, but not worth replaying, especially since I completed it to 100%.

Major issues: The camera. This thing was horrible! Too many times I couldn't get it to show me where I was going (if I was on a ledge) or it would knock me off obstacles. It made gameplay infuriating quite often. Other than that, I really enjoyed this title.

More later, including my full review of The Simpsons Game! Thanks for reading!

"curb-stomped" haven't heard that one in a while. It sure feels great to pwn a game like that - at least every now and then.

I missed one or two cliches, which takes away two achievements. I also could not get perfect on the rhythm endgame. The controller inputs are too imprecise. The tiniest 1° off perfectly-aligned left or right seems to get registered as up/down, making it too frustrating.

Ouch! I hope you are feeling better after that incident.

@jekyll - Did you try just using the directional pad? I think that's how I pulled that one off. Or I just have mad rhythm skills thanks to Guitar Hero.

Yes, I only ever did it with directional pad.
