So I have worked the road for little over three years now and I am finally facing my first civil suit.

To make a long story short (sort of) back in August I was in front of a bar at closing time on foot. I saw two people arguing. Black guy and white guy. I see the black guy punch the white guy in the face. I go over to him and start arresting him. I spin him around and pin him against a car and am putting handcuffs on when his friend tries to seperate me. I push him back and tell him to stay back. He comes at me again and I put my arm up. He slaps my arm away. I tell my partner behind me who is arresting the white guy, 05, meaning this guy is next.

After I put the cuffs on I turn to this guy and tell him he is under arrest. He tries to turn on me so we pin him against the trunk of a car. He is trying to get up so the best way to pin him, is to keep pushing his face into the trunk of the car. Handcuffs are put on and we stand him up. He tries to headbutt me in the face. I step back and he hits the top of my chest. I push him away and he starts trying to kick up. We drop him to the ground and pin him there. I pepper spray him and even a bouncer helped us by holding his legs down. We call for a car, one shows up and transports him to the jail. I follow the car, but am in front. We drive to the jail and he is given water for the pepper spray.

So my Sgt. asks me two days later about this guy. Come to find out he is saying when he was transported the cop pulled to the side of a side road, and punched him two times in the face. He tells the Sgt. he never resisted and was never pepper sprayed. Dispatch tapes confirm it took us under 2 minutes to reach the jail which is about 1.5 miles away. He tells the guy to come in and give a statement if he wants, then he is going to arrest him for false statement. Guy never comes in.

About a month and a half later I get a packet from the DA's office. It shows a picture of this guy with what appears to be his eye swollen shut. The guys statement reads like a fairy tale. Said he never resisted, we beat him up, he asked us if it was because he was military or black, ect. Said on the way to the station the arresting officer pulled over and punched him two times. His captain was glowing about what a fine officer he was ect. I call the DA and tell him, there is nothing to this and to go ahead with all the charges. I have two bouncers who helped. One of them has his truck scractched up from this guy trying to get up and around on us. The other got some pepper on him when I sprayed.

Best part of all is I cant wait for the trial. Either the criminal or the Civil when I am put on the stand and asked- why did you punch my client.
I didn't transport your client.

Since then,, this fine officer for the army has been arrested for DWI.

Ever since I joined this site.. the number of pointless threads has bothered me. Just today I saw the how often do you sneeze, and what did you wear today,, what are you wearing tomorrow threads.

What is the point of these. Too often I see what is in your game console, what is your fav. color, ect.

I dont know if it is because the average age on this site is young, or if people are just trying to bump up post count for some odd reason,, as if at 10000 posts you get a toaster or something. Everyday I have to scroll past these worthless threads to find one worth reading.

I would be much happier if these pointless threads were deleted. The worst part is the number of replies to these threads which means they seem to be popular. I just don't get it.

I have been a Nintendo fan since the NES and have stuck faithfully with the system since. The only other console I have bought was a PS1 and that was for FF7. I never got the gamecube as there was a time I got into PC gaming.

over the years Nintendo has released consoles with promises of extra's. Most of the time they come through, though by the time they are released, the console in on the downward slope of it's existence. Does anyone remember the slot added to the undernearth of the N64. This was said to be for added content, and was supposed to be a CD. It ended up never being used. By the time the memory expansion was released the console was over 3 years old and Gamecube was well into development.

With the Wii. We were promised channels and support. A year into the release and we had a Wii vote channel. It took a year and a half to release the Nintendo channel and to start releasing Wii Ware games. Since then we have Wii vote, Mii channel, and thats about it. There has been only one demo released. There is a lack of channels and releases for the VC. There are thousands of games that can be released.

Things like the mouse, balance board, super scope, running pad, ect. are released with little support. Like I also said,, when things are released it is years after launch and when the system is on it's last lap.

I hope with the next console the features announced for the system will be shorly released after launch and not years.
