From the beginning Joss has made his mark on the world as a true a orginal, he is a visionary in television and will forever have the most loyal fans who will follow him any where to any project. I know I would. My love for Joss began of course with Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV), as it did for most of his fans, from the second it began Buffy was a different kind of show unlike anything on tv and became a run away hit launching the teen era for the now defunct WB network. Buffy helped define a generation and that generation owes Joss a great deal of respect. With his second hit Angel, though less acclaimed then Buffy, he proved he was not a one hit wonder and could really dish out originality compelling stories and well developed enthralling character like no other. He knew how to make quality television. Even with Firefly, which could be deemed a failure from a certain perspective, soard to amazing heights. After being cancelled shortly after it began airing the fans went to new heights and thanks to them Firefly was turned into a big screen adaptation entitled Serenity.
Though Firefly didn't gain a cult status like Buffy it did have just as many loyal and dedicated fans as Angel did. It was another example of the fact that Joss was more then a one hit wonder but also that he was creative beyond words. A space scifi western filled with quirk, characters for everyone, action and comedy Firefly may not have lasted long but it the minds of Joss Whedon fans it's just as important as Angel or Buffy for that matter. With his latest project Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog Joss also showed us that he has an amazing commitment to his fans, to his work, and to his own integrity. He continues to out do himself and try to reach new heights and mediums. I know we can only expect great things from him in the future. On the big screen, small screen and even now the computer screen. No one can write characters like Joss, no one can make tv like Joss and no one seems more devoted to challenging himself and reinventing himself, much like he does with his on screen characters, then Joss.

James is committed with a captial C, I can't remember the last time I've seen an actor so committed. Not only that but he knows his strengths, he is a comedic actor and knows it and that's where he puts his focus and energy. Don't let that fool you though he can carry out the dramatic stuff too. It's just really nice to see an actor who knows his area and works in it instead of trying to be something he isn't. As Shawn Spencer on Psych he is just outstandingly funny, he goes for it at every turn while being both subtle and totally in your face. If you haven't see it watch it, James alone will keep you in stitches.

As Wilson on House Robert really doesn't get to show his full skill skit, but if you watch the season four finale you will get to see a good taste of it. Robert can seriously do no wrong because he seems to know where his talents lay when it comes to acting. He seems to see that he is suited for the more sensitive roles and they suit him back in return. He just knows how to play emotion so very well and make you believe it, as I said watch the season four finale of House and you will know exactly what I'm talking about. He's done it all. Stage, big screen and small screen and I think he can fit into them all with an incredible ease. He is obviously best known today for his role as Dr. James Wilson but he's done so many other great projects you can just see that he is versatile as well as amazingly talented.

Even though her role over this last season has been greatly diminished for the first three seasons of House Jennifer held her own with such heavy weight as Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard. She could lay on the emotion, angst and feeling effortlessly and it was always a joy to watch her on screen. She fit her character well and more importantly played it well, I want to see Cameron back on the front lines and on our tv screens.
I haven't seen Jennifer in much else but in the few small roles I have seen her in she always did a good job and I know that those great roles that will show acting skills are out there, just waiting for her to find them.

It's almost though she came out of nowhere. Before I saw her on Chuck I had never seen her before and then bam! Here comes this femme fetal who's kicking butt and saving Chuck on a weekly basis. And get this she's a good natured, likeable person too! Not an everyday combination to say the least, and we're not the only folk who are noticing. Chuck's been noticing her as well, big time. But I'm surprised. Yvonne seems to be just as good natured and likeable as well, she's just like Sarah...minus the whole nnja moves thing. But hey you never know. She looks like a sports swimsuit model but she's not all at conceded. I think this is perfect casting for the role of Sarah and I can't wait to see what Yvonne does with the character in the upcoming season.

I'm telling you this guy is the next big thing. Not only is he going to get massive attention for his role as Chuck but he's going to be a big star, you can quote me on that. He's already gotten praise and attention for his role on Chuck, for only one season mind you, and you just know there's only going to be more to come. Zach plays Chuck, this nerdy endearing average guy who just happens to inherit all the governments deepest darkest secrets. A little unrealistic, perhaps. But Zach will make you forget it. I mean he just makes you fall head over heels in love with Chuck, and we're not the only ones. Slowly but surely Sarah is feeling the love as well. Zach's on screen chemistry with co-star Yvonne (Sarah) is just fantastic to watch. It's natural and addicting, you want to tune in every week to find out what's going to happen between these two next. Zach is brilliant as Chuck and for one can not wait to have him back this fall.

Now I know the show is called Bones and it centers around Bones (Brennan) and Booth but I love Hodgins. He's a great supporting player and I love that they've fleshed out his character more and more with each passing season. He's a perfect supporting player. He's got the squint skills, the paranoid mentality and the huge intellect which makes him a great match for Brennan (from an intelectual stand point, I'm all for Hodgi/Angela). He's got a quirky way about him and a great sense of humor mixed with just a drop of charm and that makes him a perfect match for Angela. They are a wonderful couple and I love them together, they add the perfect amount of romance to the show. Tj seems very at home in the role and from interviews that I've seen he's really embraced the character and enjoys playing him. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Hogins as the series progresses.

Over three seasons of Bones Zach became one of the most endearing squints. He was a cute little fellow with a nerdy personality but a nice heart, though not the most emotional fellow. He was polite in every sense of the word and amazingly intellegent, sometimes I didn't even know what he was talking about but he was Zach and we loved him. I'm so going to miss him next season on Bones and I hope we haven'y heard the last of him. Eric played the role greatly and made it shine, which is saying something because he was secondary in the cast (the show does esentially belong to Bones and Booth). But he did a lot with the role and left an impression on all of us, as evident by the back lash from the season 3 finale. We'll miss you Zach, we'll miss you Eric!

Gregory always seemed especially grounded for such a young actor, he seemed to have pride in his work and committed to his craft. Very unlike a lot of young hollywood types. You could see that he had been in the business, been acting from a very young age and he seemed to take a lot away from it. A mark of a true lasting talent. He was also a great talent on Everwood and even though it was an ensemble show as Ephram Gregory stole the show at every turn the role suited him perfectly and he took to it like a true proffessional. But I always felt that his role on Everwood was just the beginning, is just the beginning of great things from him. Though he hasn't done a lot of work since his time on Everwood I am sure we have not seen the last of him in the least.

Over her years on Dawson's Creek I thought that Katie Holmes was just the cutest little in her role as Joey Potter, I can't say I feel exactly the same way as of now but things are very different with her these days. I won't say she was a beacon of great acting skills but I thought she played the character to the point, it felt very believeable at every turn which sometimes young actors fail at accomplishing. And I always felt she connected well with the camera and her cast mates, like quite a few of the other cast members on Dawson's Creek.

Being a Buffalo born girl myself it's great to see one of us up in tinsel town working it. I must admit that my favorite role of David's role is Angel/Angelus from the Joss Whedon shows Buffy and Angel. I loved how he brought all his range the role, when he first premiered on Buffy he was a secondary character but quickly became a front runner and was quickly spun off into his own show. And thank goodness he did, it was on Angel that he really got to flex his acting muscles. But I will be the firs to admit that his role on Bones as Detective Booth defenitely seems to suit him more, have more of his own personality in the character. I haven't seen a ton of Bones as of yet but what I have seen of him on the show is very enjoyable.

Even though Seth is better known for his comedic choices I've never been able to forget his role as Oz on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've seen him in many things since then and he is a good comedic actor and that's obviously where he feels most comfortable but it doesn't seem like he gives himself enough credit. Over his time of Buffy the Vampire Slayer he was very memorable and could pull off everything he needed to pull off. Oz's stoic behavior, the sweet and romantic moments with co-star Alyson Hannigan and even the heavy emotive moments that popped up for him now and again. I just think he's better then some of the roles he has taken.

Over the years I have seen Alyson in many things. Her latest role on how I met your mother is very suited to the progression of her career, now that's she in her thirties you can see that she's taking more grown up roles even though How I Met Your Mother is still a comedy (in my opinion her niche, she's a subtle comedian but a good one). Her quirky odd ball role in the quirky odd ball American Pie movies was an absolute hoot. They were really the movies that showed even though Alyson was a great dramatic actor from her years on Btvs she just fit well with the comedic stuff. Though obviously she has to this day remained very well known for her work as shy nerdy wicca Willow on Btvs, that's the role of hers I tend to favorite because Btvs is one of my all time favorite shows but if you watch her over the seven seasons you can see that she's got a great talent to back up every role she takes.

In a great cast it's easy for some good actors to get over looked and I think that was Nicky's curse. Over his years on Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel James did a lot with the character of Spike. He started out as the big bad, an evil villain with a wicked yen to kill our favorite little blonde vampire slayer. He made a great memorable villain, so much so that his character who was originally slated to die was eventually brought back as a main cast member. He become a pivotal character not only falling for Buffy and earning back his soul like another vampire we all know. It takes a talented actor to play a character who goes through that much growth and change.

As Doyle, Angel's comedic side kick on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off Angel, Glenn gave a lot of goofy charm and funny wit. He had a great vibe with David and good chemistry with Charisma. The little time he spent on the show is well remembered by fans and even though he was a part of the show for such a short amount of time he made a lasting impression long after he was gone both with the fans and over the course of the rest of the show.

John is one of the most charming actors I have ever seen. acting comes so naturally to him and he makes it look effortless, which is part of where his charm comes from. He can be such a character, a real card at times but I can also seeing him shining in more dramatic roles. I am anxious to see what kinds of part he takes as the years go by, I'm sure he will pick some great things that show off all the different sides to his personality and his skills. Or at least I hope he does. As Jim Halpert on The Office he puts a lot of himself into the character, I love his on screen chemistry with co-star Jenna Fisher they play off one another very well and you can just see that he has fun with the role and doesn't take himself to seriously. A lot of young actors today have that problem and it's just nice to see an actor who isn't so jaded and affected. We need more like John.

Obviously, when he was first on the show we didn't really see him let alone his acting abilities because he was incognito but since he has revealed himself and he has gotten to really build up his role on the show I'm really impressed. He's got this raw intensity that really works for the character seeing as Sylar is supposed to this intimidating frightening guy. I'm a little biased I suppose because I happen to think he is gorgeous but rewatch Distractions, episode 14. You can really see that the show is playing off Zachary's own natural intensity as he puts a lot of that into the character. I gotta say I like this guy, despite his unsavory actions on the show.

You know I just watched her in Wedding Crashers as the crazy kooky Gloria and I gotta say that even though her character isn't really the main plot point of the film she was still pretty funny. I mean she really went balls to the wall with her character, she really laid on the crazy uber-thick which is actually kind of impressive seeing as she had to hold her own against Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson who both have really hefty experience. She's quite the impressive young lady, too. But I really do think she does well in comedies, she's not afraid to be crazy and just go with the general flow of it all. Pretty girl, too. I like her.

After I first saw Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers I was really surprised that I like him but also I was really surprised that I liked his character, I mean let's face it he played a play boy for all intensive purposes. And even before he made his transformation to a kind of decent guy I found myself liking him, you know someone is doing some right when you like a character like that. Which lead to believe that it had to be Vaughn, especially seeing as he played a lot of really potentially unlike-able characters. I mean think about some of the roles we have seen him in, short of The Breakup, he's played some pretty nasty dudes. I mean didn't he play some sort of psycho murderer in a movie with John Travolta. And I gotta say it's quite impressive that he can still make us like him despite these baddies. Seems like he's a really good actor who likes to play the villian of sorts.

Considering all the comedy he does and the hilarious stuff that we see engage in he sure can keep a straight face, he seems like a serious profesional but the kind that isn't incapable of relazing and just having fun at times. I have seen him in Arrested Development and of course find him funny and a great character. However, one performance of his that particularly made me like him was his small role in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. He has a small role that doesn't really hold any purpose in the movie but that makes it all the more impressive that I remember him for it despite the size or importance. He is such a card in the film I swear you'll love him and I gotta say this the rest of the movie isn't exactly that funny but you'll certainly crack up wtching him. I really think Jason is gonna be a really well known name and it's just a mterr of time. He reminds ome of a mix of Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Carey.

Though I have seen him a feature film and once or twice on television it seems as though he is becoming most well known for his role as Mark Anthony, on HBO's Rome (which I have just recently become a fan of). And I gotta say that even though I adore him and he is an excellent actor he plays one jerk of a guy. I mean Mark Anthony is self serving, intimidating, snake in the grass, and an all around rude kind of guy. But I guess that says a lot about James himself that he can play such a sort of dislikable character and yet a lot of people still like the character. He defenitely brings a sense of charm and sensuality to Mark Anthony and he's got this great commanding on screen prescence. He defenitely doesn't seem like a Mark Anthony type and yet he plays him so well.

One minute he is frequenting brothel's and battling like a brute, the next he is defending his friends and being quite polite even to those beneath his station but he makes it work. I mean it's got to be a tough role to play. Trying to encompass what a man, a soldier of ancient Rome would have been like. Seems like it would take a lot of serious effort to me but as I said he really makes it work and he really makes you like the character of Pullo, though you may not always agree or be pleased with his actions. He seems like he's got a good sense of what works for him as an actor as well, not taking on endless role after role. He seems like a really sweet guy offscreen, too. I look forward to seeing more of him.
