I don't know who he is, I blame it on the fact that I live in Sweden and haven't had direct exposure to stuff like that in some time

I used to work at a Bingo Hall and we would have GSN on...this guy was hillarious on Match Game...what a funny show back in the day, well before most of us were born.

I very much so remember him. I watched the Match Game every day when I was younger.

*sigh* Unfortunately, everyone's day must come sometime. Rest In Peace Mr. Reilly.

Yes indeed. May he Rest In Peace.

This is exactly like when I found out Peter Boyle passed away. NO!!!! Charles Nelson Reilly was this world's one hope for the future. I bet Carrie must be crushed.

So it goes.

Best. Center. Square. Ever.

DiffEcult: You're thinking of Paul Lynde, silly!

Then again, with both of them so flamboyant in the 70's, it's understandable to get them confused.

Either that or I'm missing out on a real big joke here.

He was one of the wittiest characters around. I remember him from the Black Hill Passion Play where I played as an extra in the crowd scenes most years, as did many of the locals. One of his early acting jobs was one of the few paid parts.....the rest of us got coffee and donuts.

I used to watch him on Match Game when I was younger. So sad to see him pass! May God Bless his Family and Friends!
