A New Blog!!!
So, nothing too exciting lately, just got my hair cut and colored today. I like it alot. 
As I was leaving from home today though, I tried to use the remote for my car to unlock the front door to my house 
When I finally realized what I was doing I couldn't help but laugh at myself. About the blog title: I guess since I'm the youngest my mom worries about me more than the others, and she wants me to call her all the time. 
I'm on my way home (fully intending to call her once I got here so she wouldn't worry 
) and she calls me first. We talk and she tells me to call her again once I get home - which I was almost there! I then tell her "But I'll be home in ten minutes, so in ten minutes let's just pretend I called you." 
I told her the same thing when she went with me to sign up for clas-ses last semester and I wasn't so into it "Come on Mom, let's don't say we did." Unfortunately, she didn't take the bait.

*Movies and Music*
I admit that I'm a Harry Potter nerd, and I was looking forward to seeing the new one in November, so now it sucks that it won't be out until next summer. I was bummed at first, but now I'm over it And Twilight got moved up to Harry Potter's weekend, so at least I'll be getting that movie early.
"Penelope"!!! So honestly, I didn't think this movie would be anything special. It's a fairy tale like story about a girl who is cursed with a pig nose and she has to marry a blue blood like herself for the curse to be broken. I don't want to say anything really spoilery, but I ended up really loving this movie. It's rated PG, so it's kind of a kid's movie, but I love a good kid's movie every once in a while It's romantic and cute (which usually is not my type of movie, but I'm in a weird romantic phase lately) and I've got a little bit of a crush on James McAvoy now 
or at least his character in the movie. Good music too, and everything is so bright and colorful.
This is the song that plays during the end credits, and I'm really liking it. Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros No, that's not English they're singing in It's a strange song, but I think it's pretty, sort of epic sounding.
I've been watching alot of good movies at work lately (since I can watch 'em for free ) so any other movies somebody wants to talk about . . .

Not much else to say, just can't wait for all the new seasons of my fav shows to start up again.

I've been back from vacation for a while now, but I'm only just now writing a new blog, because I'm lazy.
So vacation . . . I went to the beach. And it was fun . . . for the most part Though when I got back I felt like I needed a vacation from my vacation - not a whole lot of relaxation. My mom, sister, and I went, and we brought my sister's 8 year old godchild Juliette. Now, I love the kid and everything, but I knew it was going to turn into me having to entertain her the whole time. And watching my mom be so paranoid about every little thing Juliette did made me realize why I was such a strange child (still am ). I also got really sunburned, which made me feel like crap for the next two days. And my right hand got so burned it was really swollen and I couldn't even use it. 
So I was slighty deformed on my birthday. It was okay though, we went eat at P.F. Chang's - best Chinese food ever! - and the waiter was pretty hot. Here's a pic of a turtle I made in the sand at the beach. Yeah, pretty awful, but I tried
I went sign up for my cla sses on Tuesday, which was much more difficult than I thought it would be, considering I STILL don't have a major yet The counselor couldn't believe I was 20 and still haven't decided what I want to do with my life, and he said that I lack enthusiasm. Well duh he didn't need to tell me, I already knew.

So I think I'm now officially obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Netflix just doesn't send the disks fast enough. Much too much time is spent on youtube watching vids - and I finally found a place to watch the episodes for free online, I'm watching it even more. I even had Buffy related dreams three nights in row! I think once I get through the entire series maybe I'll write something on what I thought of Buffy as a whole. And then move on to Angel, and then possible Firefly.
Found this Xander vid I just thought was funny. The song is perfect, and the vid is sometimes strangely literal I know he's had his not so great moments (like ALL the characters really) but he's still one of my favorite characters on the show. And I just love the whole Buffy/Willow/Xander friendship.

Hi 
I'm just writing to say that I'm leaving to go on vacation and I'll be gone until Friday (my birthday, by the way ). I'm soooooooo ready to go to the beach and just get away for a while. I haven't been able to go on a whole lot of blogs lately, but hopefully I can catch up when I get back.
Now I have to go finish packing and go to sleep since it's already one o'clock in the morning. Yep, putting everything off until the last minute again.
