Yo and hello

I haven't written a blog since sometime after the season premiere of Supernatural, so I figured it was probably about time I had written a new one. Anyway, not too much going on with me. I just finished my third semester of school. The only remotely exciting thing that happened was a piece I submitted got printed in my school's lit mag.

So, I'm just here to write about the season finales of a few shows that I watch . . . mainly because I'm bored and I slept about three hours last night, and . . . yeah. Spoilers, of course.

**DOLLHOUSE**

I initially thought Alan Tudyk was an odd choice to play Alpha. But as the episode went on I started warming up to the idea. I thought he did a great job as the jumpy neurotic guy, but he pulled off crazy just as well. Dr. Saunders was a doll, and my fave doll Victor got disfigured. "Mellie" was the one who got released from her contract, while Echo stayed in the Dollhouse. I think this show has improved so much since the premiere, and I would hate if it were cancelled.

**CHUCK**

I really loved the last two episodes. Chuck knows Kung-fu!!! I like that Chuck made the decision himself this time when he (downloaded - is that the correct term?) the intersect into his head again. And this time he got some nifty new skills. And don't get me started on Chuck/Sarah. Just too much love to express, and I'm really glad I started watching this show. Thanks again Puma for the rec! I'm just really hoping Chuck gets a season 3.

**LOST**

I'm really not an avid Lost watcher at all. I mean, I know most of the characters and some of their backstories . . . but I really don't think this is a show that you can just pick up in the middle, you know?? But I decided to watch the finale, and jeez that ending! Alot of the episode was slow, but the standout moments for me was the Jack/Sawyer beatdown, and the last five minutes. The episode ends with the explosion, with no idea what is going to happen next. Who is living or dying, and is it really going to keep the plane from crashing? So much is possible with this show, I'm not even going to BEGIN to guess. But season 6 doesn't start until 2010? Now that's just cruel.

**SUPERNATURAL**

This being my favorite show, it would usually go last. But I think I'm going to base this on how many times I watched an episode, and that is usually an indicator of how much I loved it. Don't get me wrong, I thought "Lucifer Rising" was a good, solid episode of SN, but not at all surprising. I mean, just look at the name of the episode. Lucifer was going to rise, no shock there. Still a great episode, and the way it ended - with the flash of white light - is going to torture me all summer. And that b!tch Ruby is dead!!!! I never really hated her character, but now that her true colors were FINALLY revealed and she is gone, I can't help but be a little cheerful that she's dead.

**GREY'S ANATOMY**

I don't think many of the people I follow even watch this show, but I've still got to write about it. I just thought the two-hour season finale was AWESOME. All of it was good, but the only thing my brain keeps replaying was the last three minutes, I swear. I keep seeing on different boards that everybody just KNEW George was John Doe the whole time, and honestly I only believe about half of you, lol Now, I've had a few moments in my life where I have been able to call the surprise ending in a t.v. show or movie (ok, very few), but I'm able to admit that alot of the time I'm a little slow on the uptake. Like, I needed Meredith actually screaming "It's George!" to know what was going on. I honestly didn't get the 007 thing because I never saw the pilot, so that was no clue for me. I know T.R. wanted to be let go, but I figured they would be using the army storyline for that. I've actually always liked George, so I would hate to see him go, and Izzie as well. In the end, I think George will die and they will save Izzie. But honestly, I think it could go any way. They could both die, just Izzie could die, or they could even both live. Ugh, I don't know. But even though I really want both of them to live, I think they should have the guts to kill off at least one of them. *sigh* This is the finale that is really going to kill me, it really is. I've watched those last three minutes at least 10 times 'cause God do I love me some good angst.

TV definitely had some amazing cliffhangers this year, and I already can't wait for the shows to start up again. This is gonna be a looooooong summer.

This blog is brought to you by Movietome, since I still can't figure out the blogs on tv.com . . .

So, a procrastination blog!! I've spent way too much time watching videos on youtube, or finding other time wasting activities instead of, you know, writing my English paper and I've found some things that I thought I'd share.

Twilight section:

I haven't seen Twilight yet (maybe Wednesday) but I found some parodies that are kinda funny (pretty stupid, but funny). I really want to see this movie, but at the same time, I just keep reading how . . . not it good it was. Whatever, I'll still probably go watch it anyway.

Twilight Parody

Twilight "Trailer" - These are short, and there are four others, but I liked this one the best.

Supernatural section:

Encyclopedia of Weirdness - I pretty much love Sam and Dean in any comic form, and these are great. In the very first post, under current entries, just click each link for a comic - there are 40 so far. Here's a few I liked off the top of my head: Psychic for the gore , Chick-flick Moment for the brother love, Coverage for The Castiel, Thinking Cap for The Bobby, and Fanservice for the love of small towels but I love pretty much all of them.

Winchester Paper Trail - This is just letters written to Sam and Dean (or too each other). They're cute, and there is so much detail put into them. I think there are only eight so far.

Indiana Winchester - Fanvid on youtube . . . Dean is basically Indiana Jones

Music section:

Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon - So, the first time I heard this on the radio, I didn't even realize what they were saying, I just liked the music I like some of their other songs too, I'm just stuck on this one because it plays on the radio, and it's just so CATCHY

Shelter by Ray Lamontagne - I couldn't find a good quality live version (that wasn't ten minutes long ) and there's no official video, so all could find was the song with pictures of sunsets as a vid but here's a Kelly Clarkson version and I think she did a good job.

and Random section:

Chicken Police - Two chickens break up a bunny fight . . . yep, you read that right.

------------------------------------------------------

Wow, there's no way anybody will look at all of this. but this is just for fun/procrastination purposes.

Wow, this is going to be much more difficult than I thought.

First: THE NEW LAYOUT HATRED
I'm writing this blog, having no idea if it will even work. There's nowhere to pick font size and type, and now what's with this tags crap? I like to put links for youtube vids or other things, and I'm so technologically challenged that I don't know how to do any of this. The forums are messed up and weird, as are the profiles and blogs. And the smileys!!! They work in the blogs but not in the blog comments. I can't do my smiley spam anymore. Everything is just confusing now, and I don't much like change. This site had its problems to begin with, and now its even worse. Hmm, I'm rather ranty today, and I'm not a ranter.

Second: HURRICANES UPDATE
Everything with Gustav was okay, no damage here. The electricity being out was not fun Thankfully, we went to my mom's uncle's house and we even BBQ'd for my dad's birthday, so only one day spent with electricity when we got back home. Then Ike went to Texas, so we got some bad weather but that's about it. I have family that live in Texas and they're all okay, but a cousin lost the building he was renting for his business. I so hate all this, I hope we don't have deal with anymore hurricanes this year. Soooo over it.

Third: SUPERNATURAL So the season premiere was last night - and it was AWESOME I was pretty spoiled though, so the only thing that came as a shock to me was when Sam used his powers. I've always liked the Sam!powers. Man, I had so much more to say about it, but now I'm drawimg a blank but it was really great. Maybe I'll write a proper blog about it later. But there was a HUG! An honest to God hug. Dean being resurrected, and trying to find Sam and Bobby, breaking into the gas station and stealing food, water, porn And I think I'm liking the whole angels angle (wow, that was hard to type ) Castiel was really cool. And I think I agree with most about the new Ruby, she just wasn't very Ruby like at all, she just seemed like a whole new character. YAY! Supernatural is back!

Fourth: TRUE BLOOD
Hmm, I'm not in a very reviewy mood today I guess, so I'll just say that I'm really liking this show so far. I love the opening credits (I have the song "Bad Things" by Jace Everett as my myspace song ) and I like how it takes place in Louisiana, mostly just cause its where I'm from and not a whole lot of shows take place here. VAMPIRES! I pretty much like any show with vampires so this is a winner. I like most of characters, and I like that both episodes kind of ended on a mini cliffhanger because I can't wait to see the next episode to find out what happens. I hope they make a habit out of that. Speaking of vamps . . .

Fifth: ANGEL
Not much to say, I've only seen the first four episodes, but it's pretty good. The first few episodes of any t.v. show are always formulatic, but hopefully soon it will turn into more. So far its just 'save girl in trouble'. I already like Angel better on his own show though, and he's kinda like an anti-hero, he doesn't always save the girl or look cool, and that's interesting. Can't wait to get my new disk in from Netflix today.

And lastly, Sixth: FORUMS

Just felt like saying this because it has really been bugging me for a while. Usually I don't say anything that bugs me because I don't think of myself as a complainer, and I REALLY don't like conflict, and if I don't like something I just leave (which is what I did) but the Supernatural forums are not what they used to be. Which is probably why I haven't posted anything there in probably over a year. Most of the people I was friendly with are gone, and there's just too much fighting. Good for those who get off on arguing, but I just liked this place when people were actually being nice to each other. I'm just missing the old site I guess, and this total change in layout is not helping matters.

Okay, I really am in a good mood today, I swear And I really want to try and be better at visiting the blogs of my very few friends (my fav part of the site anyway). Must stop putting off the homework now . . .

Run4Nova must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Run4Nova possibly have for not rating a single film?
