Staff either fix the moderation queue update or disable submissions until you do. Its just plain annoying to deal with.
Users once again read the rules, today more rubbish submissions - This is old news and you shouldnt need to be reminded.
Editors enforce the submissio guidelines, dont just submit trash. I know some of you just accept everything even if they are full of errors. This needs to stop as this tells users its OK when its NOT.
These editors need to be found and weeded out and removed from their guides and replaced with experienced editors who actually know what they are doing, or this problem will never be fixed.

I fear that tv.com's reporting system doesn't really help. People can be reported for the craziest things (just ask Ross)
I'm sure editors have been reported for doing their job properly

I just don't think anyone reads our blogs about what to submit and how to do it and what is and isn't allowed!
I had one guy a few weeks about, flooding my queue with submissions for one of the larger shows I edit. He's a real fan. But the stuff he sent was either personal opinion, which didn't belong in the episode or recap area, or it was cut and pasted from another site. So I rejected almost all of the over 70 subs he sent, with a note each time on how to do it. He finally stopped and I guess didn't report me (had no reason to as I was nice to him) and hasn't submitted since!

jekyll - I agree and obviously from some popular shows or it wouldnt be so many people. They really need t be found and replaced.
expatriot - It doesnt, the MOD's can only suspend and the staff cant look at them so yeh nothing gets done. You have to take it directly to a staff member not a MOD
Editors do get reported as people have done it to me for actually doing my job. Not to mention the nerve of some people who complain after having to wait 2 days.
xblvr - know I get many to, its just gone to far and nothing is being done about it.
sd - I had one yesterday that submitted about 40 things that had been copied from a fan site and also what he thought about them. He fired off an angry PM. Its just stupid, editors who do their jobs are the ones getting the crap.
StarbucksAddict - Yeh the more subs you get the more rubbish you get :s
potshop69 - Sure is and when you get some everyday it just feels pointless.

i had a person that won't accept any of my submissions. that person rejected them all. they were all correctly done too and it took me a long time. i just started on tv.com last month and i was on gamespot.com for the other two months. you can find it under charles martinet.
