A great friend of mine, EnigManic, has been modded for an unknown reason.

Click Here and read the posts that Enigmanic has made. Then read the replys from the mod, and other members.

As you can see, EnigManic supported his posts with facts. he told those who were wrong, that they were, told them why, and left it at that. He did NOT break any rules of GS and only wanted to better inform people who were less informed. he did so in a friendly manner with no degrading language, no cutting down of others, and no offensive, or disruptive posting.

So ask yourself, how could this have happened?

This is my opinion. If you are someone who doesnt like the truth, please know that this is not fact and it is just an opinion of a concerned member. Do not go and mod me for some lame reason. If you have a problem, let me and and we'll see how we can work it out.

I think that if a mod cant win an argument against a member of GS, they mod them. They do this because the can't stand to be wrong. After all, their mods, and how can they be wrong? They worked hard to become mods and their not going to lose an argument to a plain member. They abuse their power of being able to mod poeple so that it adds to their own advantage.

I had mods as much as the next guy, but your buddy was to a degree 'trolling' someone just wanted to know some information on a game and he/they decided to rant about numerous things. Had they stopped and not bothered to fight the other user(s) about how good Saints Row 1 and 2 are, he wouldn't have been bothered. Since he continued to 'fight', he got modded. So he did break the Terms of Use. I know it's stupid, but any sort of in-game fighting will not be tolerated; if you make fun of people you get banned. The joys having GS exist in a Country where kids get offended over everything and every kid deserves a medal, even for finishing last.

At most your friend could've been nicer - but I have to agree that I see nothing that warrants a mod. I mean, it was an argument, but no serious attacks were sent at other people and the words used were intellectual. I don't understand how he got modded, but well, it's not my place to really call question upon that. If I were him though, I'd demand a reason.

And hi

Wow. I had got modded a while back myself for some unknown reason also. Perhaps though, I agree with the first comment, he was "arguing" instead of just commenting one or two times. When you have more than several (lke 3 or 4) it's considered trolling.

I don't think it should've been EnigMatics obligation to continue the argument. As much differences as Saints Row and GTA have against one another, they're still relatively in the same genre as sandbox crime-oriented games. But besides the argument, it was useless to push it. The moderators were unjustified anyways in stopping the thread so either way I'm on EnigMatics side.

Yeah I agree with HellRaiser, he didnt need to keep commenting on it. I mean he had made his point very clear. Do I agree that he should have been modded: NO. Do I think he should have stopped commenting: YES
