The 22nd of january is fast approaching and I for one can not wait for it to arrive. I finally have something to look forward too for me for once instead of one of the kids. Saw Iv is coming out on DVD in the USA and I managed to find a site called PlayUSA.com that sells region 1 DVDs. I was originally searching Play.com that only does British DVDs. So of course I had to pre-order myself a copy as I have been waiting for this one since I watched the 3rd Movie sometime last year.

If I had waited for the British to release the DVD I would of had to wait until the 3rd of March this year, and I was surprised by the gap in release dates for the same movie. So I think I will be using more of that site now for the DVDs that I really want as I have a region free DVD player and now I can get all the top titles that i will enjoy a lot earlier than I would if I waited for the UK to release them!!!!

Hmm, I saw the first movie in this series. Rather fascinating, that one (no, I'm not speaking about the gore, I'm referring to the plot). Very well done, the plot. Jigsaw may be a sociopath, but he's a genius... in his own special way.

The part I disliked most was when the one cop was killed, but that part was unrealistic anyway. No way would two cops go into a situation like that alone. Silly Hollywood.

The plot was very well executed fair plays to it, I havent seen a horror/gore title like that one in a while so I enjoyed it, the 2nd one well that was just more of the same gore but still a good title and the 3rd one was well better than its previous ones. So I am hoping that this one is better again and I have heard somewhere that they are making/made a 5 one and really hoping that it will be the last one and not carry on making them and runining the line of movies like they have with some other good lines of movies.

Yeah you'd think that cops would have better training than the ones they use in hollywood wouldnt ya lol

They are movies....Movie Cops are even more stupid than real life cops.

Remember the films are just make believe...real cops usually are that dumb. And a true horror fan will will love a anything in the Saw series, like any them were supposed to be something that could really happen

But Lordy they are all fun to watch. Even better than "The Hills Have Eyes" I saw a Great one the other day,"Wrong Turn". a couple years old that I must have missed when it came out. Great special effects and gory killing. Eliza Dushku led the cast that got caught in West Virginia of 6 teens attacked by mutant hillbillies. Only problem is it was too short, not quite 1 1/2 hours - could have been so much more blood and guts.

I havent seen wrong turn so Im going to have to investigate that one and maybe buy it. But I didnt think hills have eyes the remake was that bad actually I thought it was pretty good, and the 2nd one was just as good

I'm not saying Hills Have Eyes isn't good, I'm just saying I think Saw is even better.

Iowastate, calling cops stupid isn't just disgraceful... it's downright poor character. Imagine the lawlessness that would exist without police forces. Oh, right, silly me. There would still be lawlessness because, according to you, cops are "stupid". Good joke.

Anyway, Romper, yes I have heard about the production of the fifth title as well. I believe I even heard rumors of a sixth title. If that rumor turns out to be real, goodbye series and hello saga.
