Today I turned 24! Same crap different day is all I still feel the same and all ive had all day is feel any different ? and im like why am i supposed to feel different just feels like i did when i was 23. Yeah so not much going on with me at the moment pretty boring really. Still playing god of war on god mode. I am only gettinga small amount of hours on the game as i can not play it in front of my children.

I can not wait for the 22nd of this month as Saw IV is being released in the states, and yes I know I am in the UK and under a different region but I have a region 1 DVD player, so I found a site called PlayUSA.com and I have ordered myself a copy and im so excited as its been getting some good reviews.

I am also getting that little bit closer to getting some money together so I can buy myself a new computer system and give this laptop back to my mom! I prefer to use a desktop much more than a laptop thats for sure. I am also like a friend of mine having to write this via TV.com as Gamespot are having problems with the blog sections so I hope that they get that fixed pretty soon.

Happy birthday.....would you like a pint of stout, some cake or both?

Not surprised you feel fine. I felt no older until I got to 40, but now after passing 50 I feel as young as ever and play video games as much as and probably more than ever. so maybe the number doesn't mean all that much.

I did my blog alright today at GS....must have just missed the glitch because I've heard others complain.

The Saw movie must be really good. I've heard other friends talk about it...especially the special effects. Of course you have to be a horror fan.

I'll just take the cake and a cuppa coffee please I had a few problems with alcohol a little while ago and I try to stay away from it now to stop the temptation of becoming hooked.

yeah im seriously starting to believe your only as old or young as you feel and to be honest with you i still feel about 10 years old somedays, and then others I feel like im in my 70s lolol I dont know what it was about the blog section of gamespot for me last night, but i tried to write something on my blog and a message came up saying internet explorer could not find the link to gs blog section, I gave it a good 3 or 4 go's before giving up and signing into TV.com and writting it from there.

I am a serious horror fan and can not wait for that movie, I am like a child with candy! They are the only horror's coming out these days that are actually worth the money used to make them, I am finding others like Hostel just mindless Gore just because they can, no story, no real horror, just plain old crap

I have to admit to easing up on the alcohol myself. I do take a pint for special occasions like a birthday, though. I don't drink to just drink, I really like the taste of a good black beer. I did get over fond of porter for a time in my younger days and try to stick to tea now. Most Americans drink coffee. I drink a God-awful amount of tea.

Belated Happy Birthday! And you're right, you're only as old as you feel I'm 45 and I can be a stuffy old bore when I need to but at home I'm definitely still a kid that loves to play video games, just ask my kids

There isnt nothing wrong with being an older Gamer I dont drink that much tea these days i've gone off it to a certain degree, I am an American in training, I drink coffee from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep, also I talk/type like an American no one can tell I am british unless I tell them, also with my username being RomperStomper I have been asked if I am an Aussie. I have this username on AOL as well so people think of the russell crowe movie from years back and they think I am an aussie.

Kratos is always to best way to celebrate an occassion.

Just being about the gore doesn't bother me..being a bore throughout *softcore pornography FAILS* then getting to what I wanted *not done nearly well enough to excuse the fail* isn't doing the flick any favors. I like Jason movies FOR Jason and his kills..not story. Hostel was suppossed to be about the story..I didn't give a s*** about the characters, situation or any other thing shown.

~The skipping arsenal of the top level players in GoW keeps growing..we can skip the Architect's Tomb puzzle thanks to kevbew's latest find.

I didnt play god of war on my birthday i had a bad headache so i kept it off for the day to try and recover the weather is giving me pressure headaches and i find i can not concentrate when i have an headache so its better for me to turn it off and then come back to it when I have a fresh head which is what I hope to be doing pretty soon as I havent played it for a couple of days now.

A horror isnt about the blood and the gore for me neither but also about the story that follows it and if it isnt a good story I didnt bother with it. I did watch the jason movies but i didnt think much of them at all. Especially when it came to making more of them the killing was basically the same in every single movie but they are alright if I am bored.

I will look out for your videos and the skips if you plan on making one about them and taking note of them when I get to the NUR stages of the game but I am unsure of which to do first I dont know wether to complete a NUR/NUR+ in God of war one or switch to God of war 2 and do a titan run and complete the challenge of the titans.

To enjoy a slaher you really have to enjoy the killing and/or sex. I strongly prefer the former as no slasher does the latter well enough to warrant a viewing. Jason is an artist among the slashers..what appears to be of little variance to those who don't like gore, is generally quite different to those that appreciate it. Granted you have to have repeat kills with as much 'slashing' as Jason does. His story is silly and the plot for each movie *especially the arcing one* is laughable. They are just good time flicks that are good for Halloween and/or Friday the 13th marathons.

I can watch quite a bit of low class horror without being displeased and even be entertained by the stupid ones if they have good enough kills to see me through.

Of course..the ones I'll share with the likes of non-gorehounds or even non-horror fans..have to be S-class. John Carpenter's "The Thing" is a good pick for such cases. "The Shining" and "Excorcist" are sort of pop culture icons so few people haven't seen those two. It can be difficult to pick a horror for non-horror fans...non-gorehounds like yourself that still love horror are easier to cater to by far though.

2 lesser horror flicks I enjoy thoroughly for various reasons are:
Madhouse (2001 I believe)
Dead Birds (200?)

Jeepers Creepers was a sleeper hit..I trust you've seen it.

I understand not playing when you aren't feeling well..comprimised concerntration just creates a downward spiral of frustration.

Start with GoW1 God NUR or God NUR+ since it is still fresh in your head/hands. I've released only one skip vid I can recall. It tells of other exploiters at YouTube worthy of a checkup at the end.

I have seen Jeepers Creepers didnt think much of the first one the 2nd one was better. I have seen the shining and didnt like that one neither and the exorcist well thats a classic cult one that everyone loves but i didnt think much of that one neither. My favs at the moment are the Saw movies they are different so im going with them at the moment.

I have just started to pick up God of war again and as you said being that the first one is fresh in my head i will more than likely stick to this one and then move on to number 2 when i am done with the first

Odd. Few prefer the second.

Didn't like "The Shining" or "The Excorcist"? What sort of horror do you like? List 10 titles *preferably varied* you like especially (without repeats of the same series unless sufficiently different)

"Saw" started a trend towards what is considered a new horror type that works FOR it..but I haven't seen anything else that does it well.

~Very well then. Onward

3. Saw

4. Hills have eyes

5. Ed Gein

6. Pet semetary

7. A new nightmare

8. Texas chainsaw massacre

9. The ring 10. The grudge They are the ones that I will continuously watch over and over until I wear the DVD's out, but I will almost watch anything once, including thrillers and murder mysteries and so on.
