Alright I couldnt come up with a good title for my blog so I choose a passage from the Bible and its coincidentally the subtitle to vol.2 of the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga.
TBH my weeks lately havent been that eventful, just playing some games when I get the time (Ive finished Batman and Im finally on my way to beating VC!) Im eagerly awaiting Ninja Gaiden Sigma II (how bout that demo?) and Uncharted 2, that 9.5 on IGN is really putting me on the edge of my seat.
Im prettymuch 1/4 of the way through Batman TAS, its rocked hard so far and it just seems to get better with each passing ep. So far the best villains (in order of favorites are) Catwoman, Joker and Posion Ivy. In anime news, I took the plunge and bought Kanon (it better be good hazel 
) so Im looking forward to that and to starting FMP! the second raid, which'll be the next thing I rent after Batman.
Money? No object when it comes to my favorite thing (whats that?) Well I spent over a 100 bucks and bought the entirety of the EVA manga. Ive been reading them in study hall and enjoying them to the fullest. The story is for the most part the same as it is in the anime (with a few exceptions.) Ive Finally gotten to the best stuff, punches being thrown, idiots being named and angles getting their asses kicked. Heres the full collection:
Lastly, my dad recently got me some school supplies (one that Im currently using right now) that being a new HP laptop. I actually went shopping around for them and found a pretty neat Sony with Blu-Ray that cost the same but didnt come with MS office, was significantly heavier and had a sub par battery life, memory and speed were the same but my dad basically said youre getting the HP. Hes one of those guys you wont win fighting him so the HP it was, not that I can complain, for the guy to just spend that kinda money on me was nice enough (a switch for him.) Heres a pic of my PC (if you can see it very well, I personalized the txt myself.) *slightly different than the movie and I came up with it before I knew about that anyway*

That collection is so sexy. I literally have one manga in my entire house, and that's the first volume of Shakugan no Shana manga adaptation. I read it too fast, and figured that at the pace I was going, I'd be spending well over 500 dollars a month. Since renting is pretty much not an option, I pretty much gave up on manga. That's not even considering the fact that manga outside of Naruto (ugh) is pretty much impossible to find here, so while I'd love to buy some more, it's not practical for me. I'll keep looking for the EVA ones though. They look absolutely awesome.

My personal favorite was the Mai arc. I wonder what your's will me?Yeah, great games are coming up! I'm pretty stoked for Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, and Assassin's Creed 2. That NGS2 demo was sweet, so I'll probably pick it up as well along the line.
Also, HOLY CRAP, YOUR LAPTOP LOOKS SIMILAR TO MINE. Of course, you have to personalize it to your liking

Wow that's a lot of EVA manga Be careful with your new HP computer, one day you might hit it a little big and it'll stop working and then blow up in your face yep I still hate HP computers
I used to enjoy the hell out of manga, but gave it up for similar reasons to hazel. The cost is just not worth it in my opinion. But for your favorite series, its a no brainer I suppose. Laptop is looking good. Any gaming potential?

Oh and congrats on your laptop! One of my friends used to have that laptop, but it kept breaking down and getting sent to repair for months (not saying that yours would do that ).

@hazel: very sexy indeed. Actually the stupid pic is so big it wont show the sexiest part, vol.4. But I know you are into Rei so vols 3. and 10 are where its at for you. Im pretty much the same way, Id spend too much money on manga but for EVA, its a necessity. Awesome doesnt begin to describe it! As for Kanon...I see another epic anime discussion coming on
I almost forgot about Demon's Souls Haha, well Im liking the HP more than I thought, its so nice to be able to get on GS anytime now, and having super sexy things to look at everytime I get on is nice too @ed: Its a great way to learn! Hmmm, when did you last check the NGSII demo? Yup, lots of EVA, just the way I like it
Well, Ive heard great stuff about HPs so maybe it was just how old yours was @raven: For sure, its damn expensive, but as you say, for my favorite series, its totally worth it! Thanks, it does have some gaming potential, but you know Im not much of a PC gamer.
@felt: I know what you mean, but like I said for my favorites I just gotta have the real deal. Most of the time though I do rent my anime.

@pharoah: well again that depends on if you like FPS games more than adventure games, or if you want something different because you already have a lot of FPS games. As you pretty well know from my blogs I love my EVA stuff. Glad you liked the quote. Boobs FTW! (I hope I dont get banned for that

It's pretty fun but it's almost the same demo that I have on the 360 besides some very minor differences I actually tried playing it all in Japanese and when I was playing it. lol maybe, mine was very crappy though (but at least it didn't have vista )
I never tried reading Manga , if I did I'd start with Full Metal Alchemist. Your collection looks pretty My Dad bought the laptop I use too and like you said, it was a switch for my Dad too and my laptop too was initially itended for school use lool yours is probably better though, I'm thankful anyway.
You'll write more about gaming when your life is going through a gaming phase again, everyone takes breaks sometimes, just keep writing about things you're going through(manga, laptop, school etc...) and your blogs should be fine.
doesnt bother me though and I get a free upgrade to Windows7 when it comes out.@sparda: good luck on your playthrough, and Im totally down for some co-op when the game comes out. Well I never stop playing games, its just hard to blog a lot about them since most everybody knows about the stuff anyway so why read it?
