I have read all, hmm... well, unread messages and to be honest, it didn't take up much time. Some messages were just about union telegrams that were very old so I just deleted those and others like that and before I knew it, I had my pm's decreased in about half. All that's left now is to clean up my friends list, and this I believe will take up quite some of my time... Like I said before, if at any time you fell like you have been deleted without any aparent reason then please contact me.

I have also left The Emblems Unions, and entered The Resident Evil Union in exchange. I just tought for a bit and there really is no reason at all for me to remain there. I am still open for a third union like I stated some days ago. I will check out the unions that were suggested in the previous blog to scope them out and see if they interest me. I will only stay in 3 unions, it's the only way I can post in all of them actively, as opposed to my previous 20 union enlistments in the past...

OK, now to talk about something different: Resident Evil 5. Everyone knows this game. I am really looking forward to it and it will be released in a matter of 11 days. I already pre-ordered it. I am really hyped for the game. I played the demo and it really got to me!! I think I am more ansious for it than I was with MGS4!! I don't know why but there is just something in the game that is really addictive!! However, I have heard a lot of people complaining about the game, and it's almost always about its gameplay. They say the game doesn't feel right because you can't move while aiming or reloading. They also say a lot of other things. Here is my answer to all of those things, (please read them all ):

1 - Why can't we move while aiming, firing or reloading?

Answer - Because this isn't really an action game or a shooter to begin with. As far as I know, it still says the game is survival-horror type and hear this: as long as you can't move while aiming, reloading or shooting, this game won't be considered a true shooter. It would be way too easy if you could move while doing those things. Basically, if you could move, you just needed to move backwards while firing against your enemies because they aren't very fast. Remember that they are infected with a virus, they aren't human. Besides, by not beeing able to move, you are more exposed to enemy attacks which raises the tension and fear while playing. And it's really funny to see some people who have also played Resident Evil 4 complaining about this. RE4 was one of the best games made, why would Capcom radically change the gameplay of a game that was considered almost perfect? If you liked RE4, you must like RE5.

2 - I can't aim properly because it feels weird not beeing able to move while I do so!!

A - OK, if you can't aim while standing still, how can you say that you can aim better while moving?

3 - I die too many times because I can't move while I shoot!!

A - It's meant to be that way... And besides, it's not like the enemies are super fast and agile. They give you just enough time to aim and shoot. In fact, you only need to let go of a button to move again, retreat a few steps and aim the gun, why is it such a big deal??...

4 - If they increased the enemies speed, agility and give them weapons, then it would justify the need to move while aiming, firing and reloading.

A - If they do that, it really isn't a Resident Evil game, is it? Giving weapons to every single enemy would just be making of Resident Evil an ordinary shooter. Minor Spoiler**(Highlight text to read it)And I'm not saying they don't have guns...**Minor Spoiler Resident Evil games have you fight against infected beeings. It's not like you are chasing down any criminals or terrorists...

5 - The new real-time item menu sucks!! I die too many times while trying to change weapons or equiping items.

A - First of all, you can equip them quickly using the four directional buttons to select 4 items of your choice. As for the other objects, I guess you really need to live with it. And remember the game supports online play... If everytime you needed to change items you had to stop the game for both you and your partner, that wouldn't be very nice, would it? Besides, it adds realism to the game and also helps to create a more tense environment. Funny thing is people only complain about this while they are fighting enemies but they seem to love it while they are out of danger because they don't waste much time opening and closing the item menu... It creates exactly what it's meant to create!! How many times do I remember my life was saved on RE4 when someone with a blade an inch away from me was about to kill me but I calmly pressed start and used a spray to regain full life? That was just silly!!... It was usefull, but it looked so unreal... With RE5, this no longer happens and I'm glad they did that!!

6 - Maybe they will change most of the things (said above) in the final version.

A - ... I think the chances of that happening are 1 to 1000...

------------------

And about the online component... Well, that deserves some criticism indeed. You can connect just fine with random people but the demo freezes while trying to join or host a private game!! At least this happens with the PS3 version. WTF was that all about?? I really hope they fix this in the final version...

That's all. Feel free to post your own arguments and ideas, I would love to hear them, and let me make it clear that all of the above is only my opinion, some may not agree with it and I don't expect everyone to do so. But please don't be afraid to speak and don't hold back because you think you might criticise me. No, that will never happen, but I just like to express my opinion on things and I also like to hear what others have to say, even if they disagree completely. See you around.

Resident Evil is one of the most expensive games I have ever seen in New Zealand (at $140).

Woow!!! That really is expensive, but If I was there, which isn't the case thankfully, I would probably buy it anyway...

I wonder how many unread PMs there were? Good luck with the cleanup, those usually take a while. I had joined The Emblems Union a while back, but it didnt really seem all that active anymore. And with donkeljohn gone, what will happen to our emblems!?

I never understood what the complaints were regarding RE5's OMG YOU CANT SHOOT WHILE RUNNING! You couldnt do that in RE4 either, and no one made a fuss. Overall, I really want RE5, But I just need more money...

Really? Interesting fact there at the end. Hrmm.....

Zeromus - Lol, people think change is always good, sometimes it's not... And we all need money, don't we... Yeah, who would tought that??
Raf - I really like RE games, they are great quality games!! But unfortunately I don't have a 360 at the moment so we won't be able to play...

I never had much interest in the Resident Evil games. I tried the first one out when I was a kid, but it wasn't for me.

Shiggums - I think it was the oposite with me, I really loved the game back then!!

I dunno how i feel about resident evil 5, I disliked the english voice acting and gameplay of 4 and five is kinda the same.

I think the games are less survival horror the demo of 5 was ridiculously easy, and you always have loads of ammo, i remember playing the first three games and thinking oh dear I have six bullets and theres 3 zombies...

now however it's oh look 100's of them I best use the shotgun, and maybe switch to pistol if I'm bored, I no longer fear moving round or something jumping out as I'm sure I can blast it, hell in four there were weird guys who carried an arsenal with them who loved to sell weapons to you. In the early games if you didn't find a weapon you didn't get it. The games far too easy as it is without being able to run and gun...

Hell the infected villagers decorated there village with bright red explosive barrels... who needs to move.

Totally agree.

Nice read. I've not long written about Resident Evil 5 myself. I know Capcom aren't exactly going for realism, but you don't really run about with a firearm in real life like a loon shooting - unless you are a loon!
