Yeah, this place looks like it is a good area to post your Game Maker games and WIPs, but when they don't allow you to put in your game, then it will really make you mad.  When they send you an e-mail saying that you're game has been denied, they include reasons as to why that is so.

Here's my case on it.  I recently submitted a game demo of mine to be rated by the general public, but they send me an e-mail a week later saying that my game has been denied because I used a GM Resource Background, and here's the worst part, THOSE BACKGROUNDS ARE FREELY DISTRIBUTED!!!.  And that isn't bad enough, I have three other game demos that used the same background, and were all submitted.  It makes absolutely no sense that a game should be denied for using a background that is freely distributed by Game Maker's creators.  So I contacted a game mod on the site with a question and stating how my game was denied, and asked if it would be accepted if I changed the background.  He said, "If that is the only reason why, then I don't see why not.  It's a stupid rule in my opinion, but I can't change that."  I agreed with him, changed the background, and submitted it again.  A week later, I receive an e-mail saying, "Your game has been DENIED for the following reasons: You've double submitted."  I can't believe it right now.  I corrected the very reason it was denied for, and IT WAS STILL DENIED!!!  Because of that, I'll no longer be able to get this demo out to the general public and have to skip it.  This isn't justified at all.  If you ask me, all the users should boycott that site because of a very crappy staff.

Well, I've only been there to check tutorials/examples,etc.
Never registered and don't plan on doing so, why:
Like all the super pro expert communities people that think are smart will act like asses, they make a site to help people but once you ask for help the first answer you'll get is one of the followings:"lolz you are a n00b","Do it yourself", and other spams answers.
There are better places to host your games, good luck with whatever you make next. ^^
