Well I have started to play KH II on normal (currently lvl 81) and although I have not beaten it I just wanted to ask if anyone else thinks that Kingdom Hearts II is worse off having decided to get rid of the platforming element that was in the original Kingdom Hearts? I find myself yearning for the greatness that was in the original but it just isn't there for me. All the bosses are heartless instead of the "dope-ass" disney bosses which is really disappointing. Using the platforming in the original there were more places to explore/hide treasure chests and ways to create epic boss battles (like the titans and Cerberus) Not to mention that there are few (at this point) new levels/characters. Most of the level designs are the same, uninspired levels we saw in the first. I also dont like the way the mp system they devised as well as all the (too) numerous skills you learn/the AP distribution system. Despite my multiple gripes, I will say that it is a great game, just not what I expected...the addition of armour is awesome (but who needs that many item slots?)

The original Kingdom Hearts was better, so I'll give you that.

So, here I was wondering where you were, not seeing any new blogs from you for ages. Then, I happen to spot the AU guide, see your name, click on it and find out that not only have you been posting blogs for a while, but I've somehow stopped tracking you

Anyway, KHII is a great game, like you said, but it does't hold a candle to the first.
