No idea... People assign stupidstitions to whatever they want, and that makes it superstitious to them.

As far as I know,the number 13 was just MADE a unlucky number due to Friday the 13th movies,they started to mention that friday the 13th was the day of the devil or some s*** like that....Not sure though..
Nonetheless I think that there is not Lucky or Unlucky numbers,I liked the movie The Number 23 with Jim carrey though

Wikipedia says it's been considered unlucky since the early 1800s.
