My Gears of War 2 Wishlist

- Dedicated Servers. This is just inexcusable. Epic really dropped the ball on bullet lag. Thankfully, I am good at leading my shots but when you can fire your shotgun into a wall, and wait a full second before the shot hits the concrete, something is wrong.

- A 'hardcore' muliplayer setting. This would tweak a few items to make the game less noob-friendly:

a. No more active sniper instant downs. If you hit them in the chest with an active they should go down, but anywhere else should just come short, so the sniper must either reload and hit his target again or pull out a pistol.

b. Shorter stun duration from melee attacks. It takes no skill whatsoever to melee, circle 90 degrees, and melee again. That way, the melee has to be followed up by a well aimed shot.

c. A radar locator that appears once the final minute starts counting down.

d. An active-reload type sequence that enables you to remove a grenade you've been tagged with.

- More players. 6v6 would be quite a lot of fun with well-made maps.

- Increased Hammerburst power in multiplayer. After the Lancer was made stonger, this gun became almost useless. Why the hell is it in the power weapons classification? If not more power they should then include it in your starting weapon loadout as an option.

- Shotgun spread should not change based on whether you are aiming down the sight or not. This makes sense for auto-fire guns, but the fact that the shotgun does it means Epic gets stupid as hell sometimes.

- If a player is badly wounded and on the brink of being downed, a Torque Bow melee should decapitate them. That would just be cool.

- A handheld laser that can slice through people. There are alot of possibilities with this one. You could take a limb off, restricting the hapless victim to using their pistol while they get a slow bleed-out counter but can still run around and fight. Or if you took a leg off, they could be downed but still able to shoot at you while bleeding on the ground.
