We first learned that Boone, or Ian Somerhalder, which is his real name, used to be a lifeguard. He had a stepsister named Shannon and they didn't seem to get along a lot of the time, as Boone referred to her as useless at one time.
When a women was drowning, Boone went to save her, but instead of saving her, Jack saved him. Boone later told Jack that he(Jack) should have saved her and not him.
Boone often disappeared in the jungle with Locke, as they had discovered a hatch in the ground and they spent countless hours trying to find a way to open it.
We found out that Boone had to rescue Shannon countless times from her abusive boyfriends. He would pay the boyfriends to break up with her. But he found out later that Shannon and the boyfriend would stay together and spend the money. When Boone found this out, Shannon came to his apartment and told him that she realized he(Boone) had always been in love with her. The two slept together.
Locke realized Boone had to let go of some things especially with Shannon. He constantly tried to protect Shannon and felt he had to tell her everything. So Locke had the island test Boone, where Boone saw Shannon dead. It was only an image of Shannon, and not really her but Boone did not know this. He charged Locke but Locke told him(Boone) that it was just a test. Boone said he felt relieved when he saw Shannon dead(her image), and for this he realized Locke was right about letting go with her.
When Boone went with Locke to find a plane that Locke saw in a dream, Boone climbed up onto a cliff to reach the plane, but he fell and became bloodied and severly hurt. Jack tried to save him after Locke rushed him(Boone) to him, but Boone died.
Boone was a really cool character in the show. It just sucks he won't be a main character anymore.

Tarick Salmaci should have gotten his Title shot. But unfortunately, he never got it and retired. Two to three years later Contender got ahold of him and he joined the cast, becoming one of the more experienced contestants on the show.

Tarick Salmaci should have gotten his Title shot. But unfortunately, he never got it and retired. Two to three years later Contender got ahold of him and he joined the cast, becoming one of the more experienced contestants on the show.
Tarick Salmaci seemed pretty close to Jesse Brinkley and some of the other guys. Unfortunately, he got beat by a coward and that is Juan de la Rosa. After Juan beat him,
he(Juan) quit the tournament due to minor injuries. What a terrible thing to do. I mean he took away Tarick's only shot at glory and he then quit.
Tarick was one of my favorites in The Contender, and I wish him luck. Because he seems like an awfully nice guy, and he is so cool!

We first got to know Sun when we saw how harshly she was treated by her husband, Jin. She had no personal freedom as she had to clothe the right way to please him, clean herself to please him, and avoid communication with other suvivors in order to please him.
We saw Sun's husband, Jin, beat Michael up because Michael had his watch, even though Michael didn't know it was his. All the survivors were questioning Michael to see what happened, since Jin couldn't speak English. But Sun later explained to Michael about the watch, and Michael then gave it back to Jin. This was the first time we saw Sun speak English, as only her and now Michael knew.
Sun learned to speak English so she could escape her husband because of his work. He would do mafia work for Sun's father, in exchange for marrying Sun. She wanted to escape to America from her father and from Jin. But we later found out that Jin didn't like doing the work, he only did it for he and Sun. And he planned to escape with Sun to America, but Sun didn't know this. When she had the chance to go to America and escape her father and Jin, she didn't because she realized how much she loved her husband and wanted to stay with him.
Jin and Sun were taking a trip to America so he could deliver watches for her father. But Jin planned on staying there with Sun to avoid further work from her father. She did not know this and was going to take a seperate trip to America in order to escape her husband. And that's when she decided to stay with him. However, the plane that they were taking to LA crashed, and here they are.
Sun healed Shannon's asthma attack with herbs. She also started her own garden for the survivors.
Sun shocked everyone except Michael and Kate(who also knew) when she spoke English in order to get everyone to know Jin didn't burn the raft. Jin felt betrayed by this and decided to help Michael, Walt and Sawyer build the raft. However, Jin later told Sun that the reason he was leaving the island was because he wanted to find someone to rescue her and the others.
Sun is my favorite female in Lost. She is very talented and makes a great character on the hit show.

Daniel Dae Kim is the Korean known as Jin Kwon on Lost. He cannot speak English in the show, and for most of the season does not know his wife could speak it. However, he later finds out that she is pretty fluent in both Korean and English.
We saw Jin as kind of a jerk in the beginning of the first season. He gave his wife, Sun, no personal freedom whatsoever. He would not let her open a button at the top of her shirt, nor would he let her appear in a bathing suit. But then we started to like Jin later on.
Jin attacked Michael when he saw Michael wearing a watch that Sun's father gave him. Michael didn't know it was Jin's but later Sun tells him it is. Jin is handcuffed to part of the plain wreckage to prevent him from attacking Michael again, but later when Michael realized it was because of the watch, he freed Jin.
We found out that Sun's father was the head of some sort of Korean mafia, and when Jin asked his permission to marry his daughter, the father told him to work for him in exchange for his daughter's hand. Jin did not know what kind of work it was. He was told he would have to deliver a message to a Byung Han, and instead of delivering it the way Sun's father wanted him to deliver it, he simply told Han very kindly that he(Han) displeased Sun's father. The father then had one of his mafia assisstants go with Jin back to Han's and show Jin how to really deliver a message the right way. And to prevent the guy from shooting Han, Jin quickly rushed in the house and beat him(Han) up, telling him he just saved his life. Sun's father's mafia assisstant then realized that the message was delivered clear enough and left.
Sun realized the kind of work Jin was doing to support them, and she took English lessons so she could escape Jin and go to America, but she found out she loved him too much and stayed with him.
Jin visited his father, and he helped him(Jin) to decide to quit after his current job he was performing for Sun's father. He was to deliver watches to Sydney and Los Angeles, and then while in Los Angeles, he and Sun would stay in America to prevent him from doing anymore dirty work for her father. But, the plane crashed on the way to LA.
Jin was accused by Michael for burning the raft because Michael felt he(Jin) had something against him. But Sun explained to the survivors that Jin did not start the fire.
Jin felt betrayed by his wife because she never told him she could speak English, and when she asked if they could start over, he said it was too late.
Jin was one of four along with Michael, Walt, and Sawyer to leave the island by raft so they could get help for all the survivors. Jin was doing it mostly to help his wife.
Jin is really cool just like his wife, Sun. They are two pretty well-liked survivors on the Lost island. At first I didn't like Jin, but then he grew on me. So he is a character I'm hoping will be even better in the second season.
