Hello my friends,

this is going to be short because I'm swamped today, but I wanted to stop by and wish all of you a very merry Christmas, busloads of presents and of course the best food in the world. I hope you're all prepared for eating everything in the house. Thank you for being my friends, commenting on my blogs, taking interest in what I have to say and, in general, being here. Thanks to all of you who were herea couple of days ago when I was devastated because my father was sick. I can now tell you, thank goodness, that the shock was bigger than the problem, which has resolved itself now. I really didn't think he was going to get better so fast, but he did, and I'm incredibly grateful. This morning, he was released from the hospital, and he's almost as good as new. So now we can all have Christmas dinner together tonight and celebrate without having to worry.

Dinner is the very reason I have to cut this short - there are a million things I need to get done, and I have to get cooking around four this afternoon. The tree isn't decorated yet, my grandma will be here around 2.30 and by then I should at least look civil, and so on. The usual Christmas stress.

This blog, most obviously, is dedicated to BB. It was exactly one year ago that she had her accident - I had no idea who she was at that time. A lot has changed in a year, and today I can say that I'm very, very happy that you're my friend, BB. Merry Christmas to you and Carlos!

EDIT: I just realised this is my 50th blog post. Took me a while to get here, but still. I'll throw a party some other time, Christmas just seems to be a lot more important right now.
