Episode 6: The Top Hat Show

Summary: The crew squares off against a corrupt corporation that has been marketing tainted food. The scheme team has a trick up its sleeve: They put on a faux magic show in order to slip through the corporation's tight security.

I found this episode had lot of good things about it, so some of my categories will have more than one choice.

Funniest scene: The beginning when they are casing Lilliian Foods and Eliot and Parker nearly get caught.

Hardison and Parker at the magic show. They work well together and they make any scene hilarious.

Eliot tying Hardison to the end of the cable line. I agree with Eliot, he really didn't see that coming?

Breakout Star of the Episode: I would have to say both Parker and Sophie. Parker had to take Sophie's place as the 'assistant'. She had to help Nate with the magic act, something that would normally have been Sophie's job. Sophie was also a breakout star in the episode because she took Parker's place by getting Mr. Price's RFID signal from his badge, and also getting him onto the stage and into the elevator.

Best Action Sequence: There were only two in this episode but I like the action sequence when Eliot had to face the two security guards in the elevator. Especially when they were fighting around the box.

Best Quote: I couldn't find one that I liked, so I picked three. They are all between Hardison and Eliot.

Hardison: "A man, a phone, no limits"; Eliot: "How about 'A man, a phone, no action'? Come on man, you left that out there like a hanging curveball."

Eliot: "How long is this going to take?"; Hardison: "As long as it has to take. You know, I was just pulled up to the ceiling of an elevatorr by my pants, so do not take that tone with me."

Eliot: "Hardison, we got a problem."; Hardison: "What kind of problem?"; Eliot: "They're MRI-ing my pizza, and their stance says 'ex-CIA'."; Hardison: "You can tell someone work for the CIA just from how they stand?"; Eliot: "It's a very distinctive stance!"

Best Part of the Con Itself: Trying to get into the junction room by using Mr. Price's fingerprint and retinal scan showed greast ingenuity on Hardison's part.

Special Shout Out: A special shout out needs to be given to Hardison for taking a few hits for the team. Another shout out needs to be given to Sophie for trying to set Nate up with the client.

That's it for this blog. Tune in on Friday for 'Royal Pains'. Comments are welcome.
