You kind of ruin the fun of a PSP if you dont like metal gear and shooting Well I would normally right off the bat recommend MGSO but since your not feeling that....I hear burnout is a fun racer to have on the PSP. IMO Final Fantasy tactics is the best game out there for the PSP. Check for some used games like twisted metal and stuff like that cuz they can be really cheap but also really fun. Also check the old reviews from gamespot and other places see what they say about them.

I've been playing a lot of Puzzle Quest. It is a really fun game that is part puzzle game, part RPG. Really unique. Plus it is only $20 bucks. Can't really argue with that.

burnout is great, however you must remember that Burnout Legends is pretty much EXACTLY the same as Burnout 3, so if you've already had it then you may want to get something else.
A great game that i have been playing on my friends PSP and i'm thinking about gettin is Gitaroo Man, which is sort of like GH but Japanese and crazy, it's an overall fun game though.
Oh and the best game BY FAR for PSP is Tekken Dark Resurection it's a must have for PSP and if you have friends with PSPs too you don't all need the game because you can gameshare which is awesome since it's nearly identicle to the AD-HOC mode.
