@mav_destroyer: Imagine you get three or four different stories with dozens of characters that all have their own backstory, put all of that in a blender and then serve everything in 13 little portions. THAT is Baccano!

Yeah, it's pretty awesome, but the first episode really sucks and you'll be thinking:"Wow! Why am I watching?" However, with the second episode it starts getting really exicting. So you shouldn't judge the Anime only from the first episode.
