My female budgerigar was in love with one of the many males she has been with her entire life (I have had her for 11-12 years im 22)

And its all gone!!!

I feel very guilty about it and probably will be for a while as those 2 could have become parents as it looked like it was headed in that direction.

When feeding I normally check to see if the doors are closed but this time I didnt though it took like 4 hours for my male budgie to realise that it was open and I didnt even check on them before.

I went for a long walk which was great as I ran into friends I havent seen in years and then I went back home.

When I go to the pet shop im going to study each male budgie carefully and should end up choosing the right one again.

Months ago for my birthday I got a telescope and every now and again my dad and I would put bits of it together and during then the conditons were bad anyway and was going to be set up for the Mars close approach but there just wasnt enough time.

When we took it outside at first everything looked dark and soon realised that it was facing the wrong way but after a few minutes of adjustments we were outside again and after looking through the lens everything looked better than I expected and although it was fully illuminated(full moon) I could still see the detail such as the craters alright + I thought it would be enough to give me a headache or really sore eyes but the way I saw it there wasnt really any discomfort yet I dont even have a filter which I should get.

Tonight I am going to see how well I can see the Deep Sky Objects and Mars and maybe Saturn if it is not behind a tree or building since Jupiter has moved close to the sun and really wanted to see that one as well and whenever I get a camera I will be taking lots of photos.

hopefully it is a clear night as I saw a long but quite thin cloud pass.

This happened a few days ago and I am still shaken from it

I had just woken up and was going over what happened in my dream and then there was a bright flash and right away there was an extremely loud crash of thunder and as I was still it looked like something exploded right in front of me and all I could see was white in my vision and I screamed so loudly. I did something very crazy right after but I was reacting in fear, I dived right into my door and knocked it right out

I'm glad it didn't actually strike me with how far part of it got or I could have been killed or paralyzed.
