Alexei Sharapanov, New York Rangers #1 Draft pick in 2007, died during a game in Omsk today. He was playing with Omsk in the KHL and collided with another player hitting his head. There was no emergency medical in the arena and he died before reaching the hospital. He was only 19 years old.
