that sucks, but you aren't alone I've had over 3 RROD( I bought a new one and gave the other to my bro) Last night my ps3 got the YLOD. and it sucks because that last couple of games I bought were for the ps3.

it does suck but i have a 2 year warrenty which is good but i have lost my reciept which is a big problem so im like tearing my room apart to find it

yo.. checked your blog.. sorry man.. i got a rrod like 2-3 months ago. i fixed it myself watchin some repair vids on you tube.. the washer fix was required for my one.. unfortunately i forgot the error number. but i remember the cause of that error as per to a site i checked out.. i think its due to heating of the gpu and cpu components... the washers hold the the heat sinks well in place and help heat conduction and ejection better and also prevents bending of the main board.. btw the x clamps .. if uve seen them.. they r at the back of the main motherboard holdin the cpu and gpu heat sinks in place r a very very big cause for bending of the board.. which is bad.. causes the heat sinks to lose contact with ur gpu and cpu.. if u have had some experience tinkering with pc hardware this should come easy to understand to u.. while i was applyin the washer fix i also applied new thermal paste to the heat sinks and gpu and cpu simply because the cheap sh1t that M$ put there had burnt out to a crisp.. mine was the age old core system thats been long since discontinued.. lasted 2 and a half years barely... a long time considering the time i bought it in was a RROD happy time.. i know that M$ changed some design of the motherboard in between.. so idont know if the xclamps r still in place.. anyways.. ive had my fair share of probs with the 360..

i had to change my drive too.. so if u feel like talking with some 1 whose got the experience of fixing this on his own.. contact me.. ill offer whatever help i can. my warranty had long since expired but still i didnt feel it neccessary to pay M$ my valued quids to fix my 360.. id rather tinker with it myself i thought.. i got the cojones for it too.. .. now u know why a lot of ppl hate M$.. and feel it neccessary to file suits against m$... because as i recall my feeling.. i was pretty darn pi$$ed when this happened.. i had just bought sf 4 and mine rroded. mine is running well so far.. but ive removed the white plastic cover off and its bare naked under a custom cooling fan i made myself.. it looks like something from radioshack now.. lol... but atleast its still workin fine..
