Halo 3:Is It Winding Down?

Halo 3 is one of the most popular games this year, but when i when't to Best Buy to get it, no body was at the Halo 3 table and there was tons of halo 3 on the table, i went on gears of war and there was tons of people, it makes me wonder if Halo 3 is winding down?
